serialized novella on website only

This is a novella that was first published for free, in serial form, in the author's newsletter (quote from the author's site "FALLING TO PIECES will be available FREE only to newsletter subscribers. The posts will be removed from the website on January 8, 2014.")

Subsequently, the novella was published in both kindle and pb formats. I've never been clear on whether the serialized, web-only edition is considered a book on Goodreads, or whether it should be merged with the most popular published edition.

Serialized but complete is ok to keep.

Serialized but incomplete is generally not (although formally published via Kindle etc. are more like a series and thus ok).
