Are there common characters in those books?

The Gooreads definition of a series is more strict then on some other websites.From Librarian Manual:
As a general rule, a book is only part of a series if that designation would apply to all editions of a work. To be a series, books should have characters and/or universes in common.

No, this still applies as a series under Goodreads' definition. It has a shared universe and concept. Again, it needs to be a series.
I'm sure there are more books inspired by Psalms, but we wouldn't put them together with these books in a series either.
It's a series of books written a very specific way. By Goodreads definition, and by my own (THE PUBLISHER), and every single one of the authors, it's a series. Their contracts say the same. It's a series on Amazon. It's a series on B&N. It's a series everywhere, and for good reason. The interior is typeset exactly the same style (custom). The book covers are branded exactly the same. Brennan, please note that the librarians are volunteers and not Goodreads employees.
As such we are obligated to follow the rules set up in Goodreads Librarian Manual.
As I already explained Goodreads rules for series are more strict than on some other websites, including Amazon, and I'm personally convinced that these books do not qualify to be listed as a series on Goodreads.

Yes, I know librarians are volunteer. And I didn't ignore anything you posted above. I read the definition, and by that definition, this series is a series.

I believe it's absolutely inappropriate to delete the series page and claim that it's not a series. The reason why I worded that response above so strongly was that I literally thought Olivia was a newer librarian messing with things. Obviously, I saw soon thereafter that's not the case. This is going to affect many other series. It doesn't serve the end user, and in my opinion doesn't make any sense.
In that case, complain to Goodreads, since the series rules were made by staff.I agree with Olivia that according to GR series rules, this is not a series.

I have no problem apologizing. I'm sorry, Olivia, I misunderstood what was going on and over-reacted. But I am "complaining" to Goodreads about how the policy is being applied, because it doesn't serve the end user. I also believe you, Olivia, and even Rivka (yes, the moderator and an employee), are misinterpreting the GR rules. I'm sure it will lead nowhere, but from Rivka's apply to the other lady's series, this is obviously affecting others.
