I read The Terror a couple of months back and it kind of bogged down in the middle in my opinion. I understand that Simmons tends to write that way. I have a huge door stopper in hardcover of his - Drood. If I ever need to press flowers, this would be my go to book. Someday I may even read it.

Lucy Furr (lucyfurr) | 775 comments Yeah, that's exactly how I feel and I've heard other people say the same, hopefully it will pick up again. Drood is next on the list after Terror. I seem to like doubling up on authors for this challenge. I've been wanting to read Drood for awhile now. I saw the hardcover at the used bookstore the other day...that is a HUGE book. Great cover. But I will be happily reading it on my Kindle. LOL
