Authors simply seeking to raise awareness about their titles should post their synopses in the genre-specific discussions above.

I'd also love to see us share ideas, outlets, etc for promotion here. I'll be honest, I was a bit naive (apparently) in my expectations of the marketing support I would get from my publisher. Trying to make up the gap in my own and looking for the best bang for my buck, do to speak.

I am not an author but willing to give honest feedback about marketing if needed. I only know what gets my attention and cannot speak for everyone.
