what does make them a series?
do they share characters or are all set at the same beach?

additional info: in case it really is a series for GR (the rules are strict on that and differ from e.g. publishers) in case there comes another novellength book into it the first ones will be renumbered with decimals as they are novellas and the third will be #1 on GR.
(but as there is currently only your #3 as novel that is just future at the moment)

They are a series due partly to location, but also recurring characters. Amazon agrees they are a series and shows them as such.

Amazon has different rules on what's considered a series.

On Goodreads the rules are more strict, but recurring characters are sufficient.
