Because they give you a lot of info, which will eliminate your having to ask in the help threads. "FAQs" stands for Frequently Asked Questions, so you can check there before asking. Not every single detail that you can think of will be spelled out in the individual tasks - but the FAQs will tell you what the default is - if the task doesn't specify, that's the rule you follow.

Of course, not every possible question will be there - but a lot are, and if you read through them, this will save everyone some time.

The Spring Challenge gave you another reason to read them.
Go to the FAQS and click on the link in the 3d paragraph. There was a bonus there, for anyone who took the time to look at the FAQs and had the curiosity to click on the link.

Will we do this again? You never know...…..
