He was kind and helpful and he was Victoria’s hero. She would have succeeded if it wasn’t for her mom entering the room to ask Victoria if she wanted dinner, finding her leaning against the bathtub, slowly losing consciousness.

After months of therapy and supervised taking of medication, Victoria slowly got better - other than the fact she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. There are days when she doesn’t even want to get out of bed, everything feeling numb except for a sinking feeling in her stomach. But there are days when she is literally bouncing off the walls, all smiles and sunshine. Lucky for her, she mostly has what she calls sunny days compared to rainy days. Despite this, she hasn’t told anyone about it because she’s still in denial about her mental disorder and suicide attempt and she just wants to be remembered as the same optimistic girl she was in the past.

Life Story
William Bates was born seventeen years ago in Orlando Florida and lived on the beach. His mother was a marine biologist and his father owned a music store. His older brother: Marcus, would later become a bar owner and of course there's his younger sister: Kenna, who he adores. Growing up the three were rather close and spent a lot of their time messing around at the beach outside their home or at their father's music store. Academically William or Will as most people called him was the golden boy. He had the grades, was popular and was athletic. He lived a pretty normal life, hung out with friends, partied and flirted a bit. And then his parents died, or where presumed dead after they went missing. The couple had gone out sailing for their twenty-fifth anniversary and never came home. After six months of nothing they were presumed dead and a funeral was held. William was thirteen at the time, his brother recently twenty-one and had just opened up his own bar and Kenna was almost ten. The beach house and their dad's music store was sold and Kenna and William went to live with their older brother in his pent house above the bar in Manhattan where he had moved to when he turned eighteen. William's high-school experience was pretty normal, he joined the swim team of course and he even ended up with a girlfriend for about two months before he slept with her best friend and ruined it. Of course the best friend got pregnant and the two decided to have an abortion. After all neither where anywhere near ready to be parents. Now the three of them don't even speak to each other and William has decided that an actual relationship is not for him.

Now Nymph likes been different, she has all her life and her natural eye colour helps with that. Her eyes are strangely enough silver, quite a noticeably silver especially when she dabs a bit of sparkly silverish blue eyeshadow and black eyeliner around it which she normally does making them seem big, almost like anime eyes.
Now other then being different Nymph likes to stand out so one of the best ways of doing that is to have something abnormal. Now her hair is naturally long and straight with a slight wave at the tips so all she could raell do is pin it up in some weird way but soon that got boring... So she dyed her hair bright blue and purple with little flecks of silver mixed in. It’s natural colour is black so to match that she dyed the tips pink and the middle bit purple keeping the base black with the finishing touch of silver flecks so it looks almost like a galaxy. She ties it up however she feels like it but it’s normally out and showing it’s beautiful colorful waves or in some plait thing ((like shown in the picture.))Now it stands out and looks even better under a blacklight.

Nymph is quite slim not picture perfect but small just enough to fit the smaller dresses or into cramped reading places she often hides herself in so she isn’t spotted. She’s over medium height not to tall not to short standing at about nose level on most guys her age. However that’s when she’s flat foot being she’s often in heels if allowed, or if she’s not. Now when Nymph isn’t in school uniform, which amazingly she actually abides by most of the time, she’s in some brightly coloured something that’s normally a dress. Her dresses vary in length some straining to reach past her knees other flowing down past her ankles. They are normally floral and geanually bright or have a sparkly frilly design. If not a dress then a bejeweled skirt that also vary in length and styles and sometimes short shorts or legging depending on what weather. Matching that it a crop top or some frilly something she finds in the malls when she’s out shopping every other day.Key points of this is Nymph hates simple or boring. And she’s a fan of shopping. She’s literally out alone or not she’s out ever seconds day if possible.

Nymph is an actress and her role is a savage bunny rabbit.
The world's her stage and she is the actress, she just needs to own the spotlight. Nymph is geanually a bubbly character always adding a skip or a bounce while walking through the halls. She acts as if there's nothing to worry about. However to be an actress you need to have attention of viewers. As bouncy as she may seem Nymph is the clasice attention seeking girl. She loves being in the spotlight and will geanually do anything to get the attention. Normally her general weirdness works wonders making people always have an eye on her to see what weird things she will do next. Hence the multi coloured hair and the bright clothes. Nymph can get quite possessive over her spotlight and doesn't like sharing and despises others taking it. She can become quite brutal even. The limelight is hers and no one else's and she with quite happy go to any lengths to keep it.
However that’s her act. Real Nymph is very similar to acting Nymph. She loves her attention and will fight for it, loves being slightly different and is normally quite bubbly. Only difference is real Nymph carries much more weight on her shoulders then her act dose. The weight of her past sits heavily on her shoulders and often likes making itself known at the most inconventate times. So to stop Nymph often hides herself in books. Losing herself in other world to stop the pain of her real one. She has read books from hot spys to sassy princes and loves them all. And this Nymph isn’t as dumb as she may seem. Actually Nymph plans a lot of what she does in order to get attention but not make herself look like a fool or for others to know she’s attention seeking. She also rather smart often being able to actually do decent in her classes.

Nymph was loved, left, shoved in a orphanage, killed, got taken, killed, then got shoved in this dang school. Long story short that was her life. In longer explanation Nymph was born into a normal family with happy parents. She was loved and looked after. She went to a normal school, made friends and didn’t normal young girl things. However that all changed at the age of ten. One day she was told to pack up all her favourite stuff and that they were going to holiday. So, being a guilby little ten year old Symphony obayed packing up everything she liked and shoving it into a large suitcase. Then she ran into a car excited to see where she was going. However she didn’t expect to be taken to an orphanage told to get out and then left behind on the front door step. In other words she was left to either be on the streets or go to the orphanage. So not wanting to be alone she entered the orphanage got herself a room and started her life, alone and invisible. At Thirteen was her first kill. Nymph had spent her whole life being invisible watching adults take other kids but always leaving her behind. She had no idea why either, other kids came in and was taken within the first year of arrival when she had been there for three years now. She was just shoved aside being forced to fend for herself. She was alone until she found the library and all the wonders it held. It provided an escape from her sucky life where all she was allowed to eat was lumpy mash potato. I life where she could taste roasted chicken and fall in love with Emperors. I life where anything was possible. By the time she was thirteen she could say she had read half of the teen library. However she changed it all at thirteen she fixed the problem. There was a young couple that was tossing between her or someone else and clearly leaning more towards the other. So Nymph fixed that will a little rat poison. Best bit was no one could relate the crime back to her and the young couple felt even worse for them so took her almost immediately. Then she started her new life with a new lovely young couple. However she couldn’t just forget the orphanage. When she went to the new school she was determined to be noticed, she didn’t want to fade into the background again and become unnoticed. So she convinced her family to let her dye her hair and use any strategy she could to become noticed. And it worked. She became the start of the school and was noticed by almost everyone. Even her teacher liked her being she got her work done and was a happy bubbly student. But oh not it couldn’t stay like that. Life had to go down hill once again. At this happened when she was fifteen. A new girl came to to school and tried to steal her spotlight. In fact this new girl did well, shoving her out the way like an over used toy and taking her spot. Now Nymph tried to deal with it, tried to make a deal with newbie and when that didn’t work tried to just deal with being invisible and hope books would be enough. But it was never enough. This girl, even when Nymph backed off, kept tearing her down. Kept messing with her test score results kept making her get to wrose of everything. Kept tearing her life down only so she could keep the spotlight and have the attention. There were so many things wrong with this. This girl got her limelight from the fact that she was harsh a brutal and anyone who didn’t love her got broken and destroyed just like Nymph. When Nymph got the light because she was just happy and fun. Not because she was brutal. So once again all it took was a small amount of common poison to fix everything. And everything was fixed, mostly. There was something freaky about having the life of someone else resting on your palm. You could do anything to them. And then to watch them crumble and fall, take their last breath all because of you. It was daunting but at the same time… it was necessary. And truth be told her little stunt fixed a few things. Until her parents figured out she had a roll to play in newbies death. They didn’t know she did it, but guessed she had maybe pushing it upon the “poor” girl or even lead the girl to do it herself. Which was most definitely not true. But that was what her parents though so the sawp her school hoping the new one would supply more, discipline. They said if she ever did something like this again she would be taken back to the orphanage. Nymph took that threat very seriously, she did Not want to go back there. But nothing could spot her stealing the spotlight in this new school. And within the first week that was exactly what she had done. Nymph is new to the school only being there two weeks. But she has already made herself known and noticed, and has already read like ten books.

Huang is an idealist. He believes that if he tries to help people, he can make a difference; he believes that he can use his position and his family's position to help people who don't have access to the same opportunities that he does. He means well, but he doesn't understand that society will never see him as a normal kid, and that he can't help everyone. He's dumb, in an endearing way.

He's also barely not legally blind. Huang doesn't wear glasses, because they tend to fall off and break, and his contacts are't exactly obvious — so it often comes to a surprise to people when one of his friends has to guide him out of a classroom. While he's reasonably good with rooms he's used to, small deviations (moved desks, bags on the floor) or entirely new rooms can be very tricky to navigate with his really bad vision. The worst part is that he's not long-sighted or short-sighted — he just sees everything as blurry fuzz. When he wants to read books (or has to, for school) he has to use actual glasses to be able to see enough to make out the words, and he only uses e-books so he can enlarge the text.

The story goes that while his wife, Madelyn Sawyer, was staring into their son’s eyes for the first time Michael burst into the delivery room yelling, “Our net worth is greater than Goldman Sachs!” And more wild retellings even say that Madelyn handed off the baby to the nearest nurse in order to free her hands so she could embrace her husband after his accomplishment. While the validity of this is questionable, it sets the tone for Jacob’s childhood.

Jacob said his first words and took his first steps in front of his nanny. When he won the spelling bee, she was the only person cheering for him in the audience. When she passed away when he was thirteen years old, there was no one left for him and there was no one to mourn with him over his loss. It was at that age that he was forced to become a true Manhattan Elite. After all, his father had always played second fiddle to Bart Bass and though the two were friends, his death had provided a great opening for Sawyer LLC. Everyone thinks Lucas is just like the rest of his family — musical genius, academically talented. And sure, he plays three instruments (double bass, piano, baritone), but both his parents play more than that, his uncle got a scholarship to a musical university when he was his age, and while Lucas might be good at the instruments he plays, his grades are fairly average. It's only his family's money that keeps him at the school, because he sure as hell wouldn't get a scholarship.

It's not that he's dumb — he's not. It's just that he tends to ramble or go into unnecessary detail, because to him there are so many more interesting aspects to discuss than just the essay question.

Lucas has had a reasonably steady life — there have only been a handful of incidences that were difficult to deal with. First, transitioning, which required him to take a month off school and stay in the city — their town didn't exactly have the resources. Second, dealing with being outed, which he dealt with by simply leaving the town. of course, from the outside, beni’s family seems like any other family from the right side of town. her mother is an ex model, who still takes the occasional gig, her father owns his own private aviation company, has shares in several other companies, moves his money about. none of her friends know about her family’s other work, and she prefers it stays that way. it’s not every day you run the risk of your friends getting killed by the cartel for saying too much (even though it was hard to picture some of the men her father worked with hurting anyone at all, they all seemed constantly smiling, smoking, laughing...). they just know her family as the one always sitting in the front pew at sunday mass, the 10;00, not the 8:00. they never miss, they always have a presence in that church.

church has been the bane of beni’s existence. she never was one for all the sitting and standing and kneeling. there were only a few occasions she would ever find herself on her knees, and sunday mass certainly wasn’t one of them. she doesn't exactly fit in, but her family has always been part of the church, so beni went along with the little charade, even though it kept a key part of herself hidden away.

so now beni simply lives her perfect appearing life, behind the facade of an ever-present smile. she dates the popular boy, whom she adores. she buys expensive clothes of her black card. she parties, drinks, breaks rules. but inside she knows this can only last for so long.

Lacey’s reality isn’t pleasant. She has lived with her mother and her boyfriend nearly all of her life. The story of her parents was sweet, she would tell people, that they were in love from high school and that her father was in a band and her mother was his main groupie. But, then, he passed away when she was two years old from cancer and to make ends meet, her mother began to date around again. It’s not her mother’s fault, Lacey would interject, that they got stuck with Jake. Oh, Jake, madman but supportive Jake. Her mother met him while she was on another date with someone else and Jake had been so enamored by her mother that he stole her from her date. Jake’s dominance issues became clear when he’d moved so quickly, inviting her mother and Lacey to live with him. It turned out he already had a wife and children of his own, but he was obsessed with her mother and wanted to keep them hidden in his personal business apartment away from his family who lived in another state. Lacey didn’t fear Jake until his drinking problem became obvious as a result of his wife finding out about her mother and her. Jake had been kicked out of his home and he was stuck with the two of them at the apartment. His drinking and his anger issues combined made Jake act out very spontaneously, hitting her mother one day and then apologizing and kissing her right after, guilting her for giving him reason to hit her in the first place. Lacey had only ever been hit by him once, resulting in a split lip and trouble speaking for a few days - he vowed to never do it again if she just did as he asked. He crooned at her, reminding her of the nice school he’d put her in, of all the money he spent on her. So, out of fear of things escalating, Lacey has always tried to do exactly as he pleases so that he won’t hurt her and he won’t hurt her mother. The emotionally abusive nature of her mother’s boyfriend has always made her doubt if Lacey even has a case to make - if the man is doing something wrong or if she is the one doing something wrong. However, she would still never tell anyone what was happening in her home, nor would she have any explanation of it. Her anxiety about this entire situation has also led her to think of taking her own life on numerous occasions, but she has yet to try anything. (hide spoiler)]

Daniel isn't a child — well, okay, technically he is, because he's under 18, but that's not the point. The point is that people almost always think that he's a freshman or a middle-schooler, and he's tired of being asked how old he is. He's sixteen, not twelve.

If you were less tactful than most people, you could describe Daniel as a filler. He's the person people go to when they need an extra team member or an extra person to interview, the kid that's always happy to help out in exchange for making some new friends. It's hard to dislike someone as uncomplicated and easy to get along with as Daniel. And he likes being used as an extra teammate because he gets friends out of it, and he gets invited to parties.

But his favourite sport will always be soccer. He started playing as a child, and he's been on the school team since the beginning of school. He's never been the captain, but that doesn't bother Daniel — he knows he's not a leader. And it gets him out of long boring meetings about strategy, so he has more time to read books.

All his tendencies to insult people aside, Matt is a cool teacher. He's always willing to help explain things (better to explain it than them get it wrong), and he spends most of the sewing lessons fixing the machines and rethreading needles — an art he has mastered through years of suffering. Not to mention he has an entire cookbook of good allergen-free recipes should his students have allergies, and every year at the end of the year they have a class party where they critique bad cooking videos and eat and chill and occasionally watch High School Musical.

Noah really doesn't like rich kids. Far too many of them are so entitled they don't even realise what a privilege it is to be able to afford to go to a good school, and a large percentage of them are also complete and utter brats. He doesn't hate them, but when they refuse to listen to reprimands and keep ending up in his office being told that if they don't behave he'll have to call their parents (who usually don't believe him or don't care), he gets a little tired of it.

That's not to say that he would prefer his old job. Journalism, while it had its interesting moments, was stressful, and he was fairly low in the company so he had no say in organisation. Here, he can actually get stuff done, he can actually fix problems. What's more, it pays well and the hours are shorter, and he doesn't have as much work during the school holidays (there is always paperwork, but there's no disciplining to be done, and that's the hard part).

"It could be worse." It's something you can hear Myeong say often. It's almost like his catchphrase, but not quite. It's rare to see him not smiling, and that's really the only way to know that something might actually be wrong. But again - super duper rare. For the most part, he'd like to focus on happy things. Like, for example, his first year of high school. Myeong is pretty excited about that - thinks things will be great. Maybe because his older sister talked about how great it was so often.

Is he going to get into typical high school shenanigans? He hopes not. He still wants the fun of everything that he says on tv, the way they go in books; he wants things to work the way they do in fiction and stories passed on by the lucky few who didn't absolutely hate their high school experience. This makes him pretty naive, but you can't expect so much from someone who's been sheltered and babied by both his parents and older sister.

You cannot, however, go through a conversation with Myeong with noticing how terribly honest he is. It's not quite being blunt - it doesn't feel like it. He's too cheerful, too happy when he delivers his honest opinion on something with a smile. You're not quite sure if he hates you or not, and even if he did - you might find it hard to reciprocate the feeling. He, however, very easy to fool and his gullible nature might well be his downfall.

She accidentally ran over a man when she was late to school once, but her parents covered it up for her: than goodness the person didn't die, but it would mean dishonor upon the Milburn family name if anyone found out.
