According to the ones I checked, they all included another (free) book. Only books with the same contents should be combined. Editions that contain two books should not be combined with editions that only contain a single book.

2. Update these latest editions in the series on the Author page.
These are all classics. Most of them do not belong to a series in the GR definition of a series. "Greatest Novels of All Time" is a publisher's series, not a series according to GR. I'll move that to the edition field according to policy (when I've got some time to work on these).

Also librarians can't set a default edition; only GR authors can do that for their own books.

And please next time when making a request like this, it would be really nice to number the requests. Now it is almost impossible to keep track.

ETA: the ones that did not have an extra book included have been combined now.
ETA2: not all ASIN's are even on Goodreads. I have corrected the titles for the editions that are on GR.

Hi Arenda, sorry for the late reply. I must have missed this notification.

I think what the publisher meant to say was that the books should be combined/added to series "where possible". Apologies for not picking that up.

Moved the paperback edition to your profile and combined it with the Kindle edition.
Editions can only be combined when the author names are identical. The paperback had a space between the initials in the author name, while your profile has not.

I believe this may be a question for superlibrarians. I created a book page for The Mountain of the Wolf (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) shortly before publication, but forgot to add the ASIN once the Kindle version went live. Now there is another edition for the Kindle version with all the correct details, including the ASIN (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...).

I've already combined the editions, but I wondered if there was a way to further consolidate those two so there would be only one Kindle Edition. I tried just adding the ASIN to the initial version but it wouldn't let me, since there is another edition with the same ASIN.

Again, not a huge issue since the editions are combined (and I naturally do not want to accidentally delete either of them and lose reviews/ratings); I was just curious if there was a workaround for this.
