Yahya, the arabic edition appears to be a Vol 1 of 2. If so, we can't combine it with the full editions.

Yes I realise that. That is often why a book is split into 2 or more volumes. GR policy is that they aren't combined with the full work.

Also, there is a second profile for the author that should probably be addressed and a couple wrong descriptions, like a synopsis for the Halycon edition on some other edition and a text about Algernon Blackwood. It looks pretty messy, really. Thanks!
#604 Combined editions of Hour of the Dragon, separated those that also included The Hyborian Age, changed the default description to a more generic one and removed that Algernon Blackwood one.I peeked at the Robert Ervin Howard profile and grabbed the edition of Hour of the Dragon and combined with the rest. Not sure if the profile itself should be merged with the Robert E. Howard one, as some editions have the full name on the cover.
In any case, I think the Howard profile and its books would make a great project, if anyone's looking for one.
Hi, I'm trying to separate the first editions of my book 'Look Into My Eyes' from the significantly expanded (50% more content) second editions. When I click on separate tool or separate it just goes back to my home page. Is it possible to have them separated?

#608 I could separate them but they have the same name & same characters so another librarian will just combine them again in the future. Why not just select the default edition as one of the new ones and that means it will be the one they see first. As long as the covers for the new ones are the same, and the original are different you shouldn't have any difficulty.
Only authors & staff can select default editions. Instructions in the 4th msg down.

Hi, thank you, I have just done that. I am just going through my books trying to update details (new to Goodreads as an author) and setting primary editions. I seem unable to update my 'Hypnotic Assassin' novel. I want to add the cover image. The book is showing as 'Daniel Jones' it is me, but I am unable to add the cover (as seen on Amazon for this edition)

#611Added the first one of your linked books to your profile by adding the missing space (for future reference, yours is the 4 space profile) the others were already,there so you should be able to edit details.
If you find other books that are not attributed to your profile you have to ask in a separate thread(this one is just for combining elditions), with mentioning the amount of spaces librarians can do that really quick. (Spaces are the way goodreads distinguish between authors with the same name and don't affect searches)
Not hundred percent sure if authors can edit the cover, but librarians can -> just ask (with a cover from an acceptable source and link to the book) in an extra thread
#610 Moved the book to your profile and added the cover from Amazon. Also added Daniel Jones to those editions that have that name on the cover.
#611 Moved four editions of Hypnotherapy to your profile. (Only one of the five editions was on your profile, the others had a different Dan Jones).You should be able to add covers and other details.
Someone else has moved Advanced Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Scripts to your profile. You should be able to edit them now.

These are the same, the actual name of the book is "Media & Democracy. Also, some editions have two authors "James Curran" and "Curran James". The profiles should probably be unified as they are the one and the same.
