I am not surprised that things ended the way that they did. I figured that Tella wouldn’t want to betray Legend/Dante and that she also would want to save her mother. I figured she would sacrifice herself. Not totally shocked that Legend released the fates to save her either. I figured out too late about Legend being the heir. I wonder if he really is the heir though or if he is just pretending? He did tell Tella that his mother sold him or sent him away.

I wonder what Jacks will be up to now? Trying to find out Legend’s true identity still? Probably. And Legend’s letter to Tella was a little vague at the end.

I am still kind of curious about their mother. At first I thought that she may have been the lost heir but now I’m not sure. (hide spoiler)]

Maybe Legend really is the heir. He told Tella that his mother sold him and sent him away. The Empress talked about making mistakes with her child.

I still can't get a hold on Jacks. He was pretty much a villain throughout the book but he actually seemed compassionate and kind to Tella at the end. -shrug- (hide spoiler)]

I think it will be a bit of a showdown between Jacks and Legend, assuming Jacks goes after him while the other Fates are still weak and he actually learns who he is, which I'm sure he will. He went through a lot of effort to discover his identity and I don't think he will let Tella off the hook that easily. (hide spoiler)]
