First impression... I love the cover!
First chapter: The title made me roll my eyes, and not in a good way! I hope this gets better... really I do.

Up to chapter 2... Not sure her stranger danger works right, mine tells me not to open the door to people I don't know. No matter what... maybe thats just me? :-/

Chapter 1-4 (view spoiler)[ How messed up is that you spend your whole life moving from one place to the next and then everything about you being burned to a crisp. Horrible. I wonder what is going to happen to Tonya and Danny now? Jens is sooo awesome! He makes me laugh. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 5-8 (view spoiler)[ I wish the world building was a bit better, I feel like there is so much going on. Venom, vanishing, elves, gnomes. I just feel like everything is being thrown at me at once. The growing ship between Lucy and Jens is VERY VERY obvious... (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 9-11 (view spoiler)[ It seems like a really good story. I just find it so hard to believe that so many normal things are powerful. A rake? A broom? (hide spoiler)]
