Phill | 271 comments This edition of The End of the Affair doesn't have a descrption in English.

Can I suggest the text from this version (below) is used (both are editions published by penguin). Alternatively I can give you the text from the back cover of the above book.

Catalina | 2065 comments It will be best if you can give us the correct blurb :)

Phill | 271 comments Ok, will do!

"This frank, intense account of a love-affair and its mystical aftermath is set in a suburb of London, and told with the intimate informality of the first person.

The story tells of the strange and callous steps taken by a middle-aged writer to destroy - or perhaps reclaim - the mistress who had unaccountably left him eighteen months before.

'For me one of the most true and moving novels of our time, in anybody's language' - William Faulkner".
