A different type of vampire tale, one in which the vampires seem more an interruption than the main plot. Two people, meant to be together, are torn asunder by circumstances involving urbane vampires. While nothing like Bram Stokers novel it did remind me of that original vampire work and that is nothing to sneeze at! The second "sequence" did confuse me at first, until I realized what had happened...my hat is off to the author!
