Joyce Reynolds-Ward (joycereynoldsward) | 16 comments Hi Dove!
I've got a new series, The Martiniere Legacy, a near-future agripunk corporate soap opera with relationships, scheming, horses, clones, cyborgs, and biobots (hey, it's Joyce's science fiction, there will ALWAYS be biobots). Think Longmire meets Dallas in the future, except instead of energy/oil, it covers agricultural technology, mind control, and indentured workers.
Newest book in the series, BROKEN ANGEL: THE LOST YEARS OF GABRIEL MARTINIERE, is in preorders and out on April 25th.

Sandeep Jayaram (sandeepjayaram) | 65 comments Good day.

My latest novelette Chicken hit #1 Bestseller in Horror on Amazon. It has, within three weeks of release, been commissioned as a screenplay. As of this update, CHICKEN only has 5 star reviews from around the world.

Approximately 9 months back, my debut novel, A Ladder Of Panties was #2 in Movers & Shakers on Amazon's Kindle store. A Ladder Of Panties is a Mumbai-based satire and is rated 4.5.

Here's my response to a question asked in an interview, yesterday. If you like my style, it would be my pleasure to answer any and all your questions.

1. What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it?
Inch-wide scar on my forehead on account of being tossed by a cow.
Setting? Childhood. Summer vacations. Ancestral village.
Our cow, Mahalaxmi, had given birth to a calf, Gauri, a few weeks ago. Gauri was pretty friendly and I would take every chance to hug her. Though seemingly unaffected--at least that's what I thought--her mother ended up butting me. Result? I took a small flight and landed a few metres away. The scar still remains. Evidence that cows are gun molls dressed up in leather.

Respect and regards.
