(view spoiler)[Lol I actually did a pretty ok job at guessing parts of the ending (Vivian still being alive, the modern day culprit being one of Becca/Chet/Lottie, although I'd narrowed it down to Chet after Becca and Lottie were basically proved innocent.)

And yet I somehow still completely failed to figure out that Vivian was the one responsible for the disappearances. GG.

It was a really cool concept to have the climax of the story with Emma talking to her subconscious as Vivian's 'ghost', pretty spooky and also it really make you want to think about all the clues and try to figure out the mystery for yourself.

Emma had a gud reasn to be sad. She didnt let them in when they wer in the last moments of their death..but it doesnt mean she is the rsn they went missng..but it wil hurt for 15yrs..coz the guilt stays.
Theo and viv ..i knew this but i didnt imagine theo wud do tht aftr the kiss..

Yeahh tht caught me as well..always the protogonist feel guilty for smethng subtle,mayb wht they told or yelled...but this had smethnv more for the guilt.

i just recently finished reading this too but am so bad about posting my thoughts while actually reading. it does start off a lil slow but definitely picks up and eventually so much is going on i was wondering when what REALLY happened was ever going to be revealed because i was so close to the end of the book before most of it finally occurred.

(view spoiler)[ i was right about theo because it was too obvious when the blame kept being pointed at him and i didn't honestly think that emma was responsible even though i did start to question her sanity. the de-ja-vu feeling all over again made it seem she was going crazy, but i know that it was because she was also being tormented by the real culprit. the crazy thing was there was more than one big reveal at the end of the book, which i will have to admit i didnt totally see coming (the part about viv being alive still, not chet - that part didn't surprise me), so i am glad the book wasn't too predictable and that there was closure in most aspects, though some things were left open-ended. Just finished this, I was a little bored in the beginning but it definitely picked up, as everyone has said.

(view spoiler)[ I loved the twists at the end - I had figured out Chet's role in everything, and was upset when I thought that was the final big reveal. The Vivian-being-alive twist definitely surprised me. When it was revealed that nothing was amiss with the asylum I was pretty disappointed/bored but this definitely changed it. I also love that Emma turned her in right away. Loved the growth this indicated, and the thought of the manhunt for Vivian! (hide spoiler)]

I loved Vivienne's character right from the beginning, and so I loved that she wasn't dead haha! I wasn't too surprised about that, but it's not like I saw it coming. I just saw it as an option.

All in all, the book definitely picked up at the middle, but it was a bit slow for me :)
