Anyone with a blog interested in joining a Women on Writing blog tour? The tour launches July 2nd through August 6th. The book is called Assuredly Well and it's a picture book about King Phillip the Good and his husband, The Most Excellent Don Carlos Emiliano Felipe de Compañero y Campañero. The pair live contently for decades until the retiring King Phillip is called to the Hero’s Journey to earn the right to a baby girl to complete their family. I've included the full details about the author and her book in the pitch sheet attached as well as a review by Kirkus Reviews about the book.

The book is a fantasy both about 1) being a same-sex parent family and 2) an allegory for the difficulties inherent in adoption and surrogacy.
