Tammy | 704 comments I'm assuming have read these and completed your double challenge (impressive) because they are checked off. How was Time's Arrow? It is on my list but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'd love to know your ratings.

message 3: by Ted (new)

Ted (teddym) I didn't rate Time's Arrow as highly as others did here. I had some difficulties following the backwards story telling at the beginning but ended up appreciating the ending. I gave it 3 stars.

I'm working through the ATY list a third time. An enjoyable read of a book with a unique format is Destiny: A Novel in Pictures by Otto Nuckel. There are no words. The novel is entirely in pictures. It has some wonderful woodcut engravings. I'm also going to read a 4th book for this topic - Ariel Lawhon's I Was Anastasia.

I'm just an old retired guy who enjoys daily walks and reading books. It's good to see you like Cormac McCarthy. Blood Meridian is one of my all-time favorite reads.

Anna | 1007 comments That's quite a feat you've achieved here! Like Tammy said, it would be good to see your ratings.

Tammy | 704 comments I read Zombie this year, too, and was pretty disappointed with that one. Thanks for putting up the ratings. I'm working my way around the year in 52 books three times. I've read about 115 books this year and haven't completed one full cycle because of my intimidating book selections. I'll get there soon.. And, yes, Cormac is a favorite of mine.

I'm into third cycle myself. I need 12 more reads.

Anna | 1007 comments Thanks, Ted! It's much more informative this way, as many of the books on your list are unknown to me.

Tammy | 704 comments Only 12 to go for a 3rd round! Heck, you should knock those out by the end of the month. What are you going to do with yourself when you are done? Maybe you could take the prompts from 2017 or 2016 and do a round of those. I think I should be done in June with my ATY triple threat. Be sure to let me know if you have any good books to recommend. Keep on truckin', Ted.
