Guidelines for Critique and Editing

Hi everyone!

We are opening up this new folder to help our writers and aspiring writers improve their skills. I know many of us, including myself, would love to have feedback on bits of writing. I also would welcome those who provide editing services to feel free to post their services in this folder as well. We do not endorse or guarantee any of the advertised services; this is just an open forum for the benefit of all here.

In this folder, feel free to open up a discussion thread with an excerpt of your writing no longer than a typed page for members to give feedback. All discussion needs to remain kind and gracious, but both positive and negative feedback is essential to refining the craft of writing. Please be prepared to get unexpected input when you post. I hope this new feature of our group will be both fun and beneficial. Feel free to give feedback even if you are not a writer. After all, writers are trying to create something readers enjoy.
