I was pretty shocked that Jason died even though I wasn't a big fan of him. I actually started liking Piper more after he died since I didn't like her either. I think that Rick Riordan will bring him back to life somehow. Though I gotta say that not many authors have the guts to kill off characters. And when they do, they do it in a way that is so anticlimatic and in a small way (don't get me started on Allegiant). So props to him. (even though I don't think Jason will stay dead).

I defintely agree with you on the Piper part because I think the reason why people don't like her is her relationship with Jason and having them broken up defintely was something new. On the other hand, itnis possible that Rick Riordan could bring back Jason (although I find that to be repetitive imo). I'm not sure how though but it'll be interesting to see how he and Piper's life would be like if he came back to life.

Yeah, I totally agree. I learned recently that sometimes people don't like the fact that characters have to be in a relationship to raise them up and develop them properly. And Jason and Piper seemed like they were in a relationship from the Heroes of Olympus series (even though I know they weren't official until the last book or so).

I feel bad for Apollo and how he was crying on the flight to camp Jupiter at the end. :( I feel like this whole adventure has made him much more humble but also prone to tears.

I have mixed feelings about Jason coming back to life. On one hand, he's my favorite character. Controversial, I know, but he is, besides Percy. And I loved Jasper and I think that Piper and Jason were meant to be. They just started off the wrong way, thereby complicating their relationship. But it's easy to see that they love each other. I also hate how everyone compares Jasper to Percabeth. NOT EVERY SHIP CAN BE PERCABETH!

And Everyone hates Piper so much! To be fair, she's like the rest of us. She's insecure and not as brave as everyone else, like a normal person. Think about it: All of them are so brave and heroic and you guys are giving Piper shit about being more normal. It's not fair.

But still, Piper's character was a missed opportunity for Rick. She's too entwined with Jason. And every character that dies cheats death, so it would be kind of predictable for Jason to come back.

So here are our options (to me):

- Jason can't come back because then it would be too predictable. I think its safe to rule it out.
- I really liked the idea of Piper going and staying with Jason in the underworld like Silena and Charlie. BUT, as I said before, Piper's character is too entwined with Jason's.

So here, in my mind, is the only way JASPER can happen without the series becoming predictable, and leaving Piper room to grow as a person is the following:

- Nico and Piper try to bargain with Hades for Jason's life, but he refuses. Piper doesn't take this well and starts getting ready to sacrifice things for Jason. Nico manages to convince his dad to let them talk to Jason the way Nico spoke with his dead sister (Ghost form). Jason manages to convince Piper to not do what she was planning. Piper screams at jason for a long while and cries, but Jason manages to calm her down, even though she says she'll never forgive him for sacrificing himself. Then, she apologizes to Jason for the breakup, saying that she let the insecurities and pressures get the bets of her, and that she loved and would always love Jason. Jason says that he loves her and always will love her, too. Piper tells Jason how she wants to come to the underworld to stay with him, and that at least they can be together down their. Jaosn convinces Piper to not (commit suicide basically) and tells her that she needs to let him go. It will take a while, but she will. Piper will find new happiness in her life, but will still love Jason, who will wait for her. Then, she'll die a heroic death and they will go to Elysium together.

Why couldn't Leo die :(

I think that jason will be alive again because here are some reasons:
1. Jasons vision in Blood Of Olympus: I know many people will say that jason saw that vision because leo was supposed to die in Blood Of Olympus but if fates wanted leo to die,no amount of physicians cure would save him because fates control almost every aspect of demigods lives and leo finding and getting the physicians cure was also controlled by fates because if fates did not want leo to get the physicias cure he would never have got it and so jasons vision was valid. Moreover jason was a veteran warrior and he knew better than to daydream in midst of a large battle and his vision was too clear and realistic for a simple daydream and obviously only fates can see the future and hence the vision was shown by fates themselves
2. Also many people say that in the prophecy of 7 either jason or leo was supposed to die . As leo came back to life using physicians cure the prophecy backfired killing jason….well i dont think thats the case because the prophecy told that one of them will die battling gaia and jason did not die battling gaia
3. In the burning maze there is a part where jason unleashes a huge storm(shortly before his death)and apollo said that the storm destroyed the ships like a chainsaw.He also added that he said seen only zeus creating a storm like that once in someplace before so creating such a large and powerful storm would obviously sap jasons strength but it is shown even after getting pierced by multiple arrows jason was fighting caligula head on,he hadn’t lost much of a strength….For those of you who have read percy jackson and the greek gods, there is a part where a mortal was flirting with hera and so zeus created a duplicate hera using a cloud which exactly similar to actual hera,so that he could catch the mortal red handed.I think zeus swapped actual jason with a fake one and zeus was the one who unleashed the storm, and he teleported actual jason to a safe place and so the prophecy of sibyl would not hold true because jason was not with piper in the quest(the prophecy said that if piper and jason went on a quest together one of them will die) and i think that there is a chance of zeus doing such a thing because he took pity on thalia and turned her into a pine tree saving her from death . So i think zeus may have done this…after all jason was his son and zeus was proud of him.
4. Many readers (including me ) thinks that jason and pipers relationship was forced and there was no true love in their relationship. So i think that riordran broke up jason and piper and then killed jason to show the readers that jason and piper truly loved each other because jason sacrificed his life for piper and after jasons death piper understood how much important jason was for her . So I think piper will get a second chance at love and jason will come back so that the could have their fresh start and write their story anew.And I think Aphrodite will aid in Jasons ressurection because she loved piper(as shown in blood of Olympus).And also piper believed that jason was not dead…and if you remember at the end of Blood of Olympus when jason and piper kissed under the stars jason told piper if she believed in something,it had a chance to come true.
5. I think many of you have noticed that jason and piper represents hercules and dienara in a way(because hera influenced their lives…as told in mark of athena-pillars of hercules part). So hercules was made a god after his death and i think that jason has a chance to become immortal because jason is a perfect character with almost no flaws and hence rick may make him immortal, because a mortal becoming an immortal is not covered in any of ricks books yet
6. Also i think all of you know that percy writes/narrates the PJO series and greek gods and greek heroes . In the beginning of the lightning thief percy says that his demigod adventures have ended and he is going to narrate only 5 of his many adventures. That means percy writes/narrates the books/story from a timeline in which he has retired from the demigod lifestyle. In greek god and greek heroes percy mentions jason, piper , leo , hazel , frank and annabeth and refers to all of them in present tense which means they are all alive in present time
7. And also all the people who say jason should not be brought back because it would null his sacrifice and dampen his image…so i ask percy has never sacrificed his life so is his image dampened? think about it. And also many of you think that riordran killed jason to make the series more “realistic”….i dont think fighting a Minotaur or riding a Pegasi is “realistic”….
8. Moreover many readers say that no main characters( Bob and damasen and the hunters of artemis killed by orion are minor characters) have died in HOO series and so rick killed jason……well in PJO series also no main characters have died ( except luke because he was the antagonist ) there were only minor characters deaths( zoe, bianca, beckendorf,silena,lee, michael yew..etc) so will rick kill percy or annabeth because there was no main character death in PJO series? I think not.
9. I think you guys remember that jason promised to build shrines for all minor gods in both camps… I think when it comes to jasons ressurection all the minor gods will demand his return…and also jason is juno/heras favourite demigod so i think juno/hera will want her favourite demigod to return ( artemis too because she was grateful to jason for standing up for apollo in blood of Olympus)
10. Also jasons death was for apollos character development so when apollo is offered immortality or when apollo becomes a god he will definitely remember jasons sacrifice and try to bring him back or else all of apollos character development by rick will go in vain
11. And lastly i think that rick will give pipers character justice because i have never seen a character grieve as much as piper in 15 books of percys world and as someone mentioned before authors write for readers and i think rick will listen to the pleas of jasper fans and bring back jason.Because if really wanted to kill jason he would never waste so many pages in HOO series building jason and pipers relationship.And only a few days left until 6th so lets hope for the best
