Ah nice, Victoria. Definitely when you see a place first hand and also read about it gives it more significance.

Seems we were all on the same page with this one (pun intended, LOL.) Quite enjoyable and being able to be read over a while because of the novella like chapters but not his best work.

I read the Bronze Horseman before I went to Russia and eventhough I wasn’t a massive fan of the book, it did add to the experience when I visited the places she spoke of
