Where I would talk about the book

I really liked this book. I read this past year. I think I most enjoyed the unique character of Owen Meany himself. That kept me drawn in, waiting to see how his 'mystique' would somehow play out in the story. I was intrigued by how Owen, though so physically different and perhaps awkward, really seemed to be the most personally secure and confident in who he was, and his sort of calling in life. I thought that was signficant, and a characteristic I think most people would aspire to have in their own lives. I also enjoyed the on-going mystery in the storyline about the narrator's mother. And how she, and other characters, each seemed to end up having a unique kind of relationship with Owen, due to the uniqueness of Owen himself and his personality. ...Thoughts???
