Hey guys, I just joined. Not gonna lie, Ive never read the book this is based off of and I haven't done a real rp like this in basically forever. I used to be in dozens of groups way back when. Anyway. I'm going to be super blunt- is this group active enough to be worth investing my time? I know the rp realm is nothing like it used to be here

Ok. I've just seen so many rps not pan out after I've invested hours in characters or the start of roleplays. I just finished fall quarter so I've got a little time here and there. Is there anything specific I should know about the group or character creation?

Lol I don't know that I'll take any of the royal family characters. I'm usually the kind to make like two characters to dip my toes in the water then whip out a bunch of characters once I know where there are needs in a group.
Yeah. I used to mod some active rp groups once upon a time, back when GR was hoppin'. I haven't done a ton of rping since except for groups with like 4 or less people that went kinda slow because we all had lives. But with winter break I'm hoping to get in some rping around work and video games and stuff.

Can someone explain the caste numbering system? Again, I haven't read the book. Is there anything else I should know?
Will I get enough of the jist of it off the first book in the series? The audiobook app I used has the series there so I'm thinking about listening to the first one. It's definitely not my usual cup of tea, though, so I may not work through it all. It's a pretty short book so if I took the time to listen to it first I can probably be ready to make characters in a few days (I would say sooner but realistically I have little time to binge)
