Not just because of Big Ben... we had one similar that E felt was too small which is why we were looking for something else. But the clock face super-imposed on the cover of this updated cover is a true clock face. The other was a bit odd being a spiral clock.
So if E agrees, the updated would work in my opinion. It is what is currently Amazon as the cover.

Em, no need to read the clock book anymore as we're going to use V's completed one.
As for the bottle, I guess? Medicine bottle should work. Guess it's going to be a first come first serve deal where the bottle task is concerned as several people seem to be reading for it hehe.
Other option: if someone has a book with just "something to drink" on the cover, we can use that as well and switch Natasha's book from that task over to bottle, as hers has a full bottle of milk on the cover.

When we get an update on characters if we still need U, my book which is being used for the task main character as a teacher has a U character. I know that can be difficult to find at times.

I was wondering about that one, too. Technically, the name of the novella is "Strange Brew" but it's set up very weirdly on GR...
Can you maybe use it for the author's name and switch one of the E/F books to somewhere else? (To avoid the issue haha.)

No, unfortunately the paperback is only going to be out in a few months (a year if they're being bastards as they have been lately) so it'll be a while before I can read it :-(

I'm planning on reading it on Thursday so I can sit down and read without disturbance. My newsfeed is going gaga over all the gifs and updates from people currently reading it.

I don't think I will be able to finish the audiobook I started with a bottle on the cover. And not sure who else had and if the will be able to finish.
I couldn't finish 'Key' book yesterday as I expected. I will definitely finish it by Friday at the latest. If that's ok, all is well. If not, Tea, can you take the task? thanks :)

You can also read a book with just something to drink on cover. We have a book with a bottle on the cover that is currently slotted in for that task.
I finished one with a drink on the cover yesterday, so we can move Milk to bottle & use mine for drink on cover. I'll post the completion tonight.

I realized that my audiobook
had a nice southern drawl and when I speed it up it sounds almost normal. I'm moving much faster through it now. Still better to use it for additional pages rather than the bottle on the cover task, and have all the tasks done so we don't have to think about it. Did we get all the letters we need for characters?

Should we still post completion posts even if it's not for anything other than I read a book? Also, will we have any time this weekend to update? There's always a chance I'll finish a book but not want to leave the comfy place to update ;)

Every book you finish before the end still counts. Maybe not for tasks or characters, but for page points.
As for update, I assume we're going to get a few hours after the challenge ends to update the spreadsheet, but if the mods go by the same rules as they have at the end of July for the end of the previous sets of tasks, then completion posts all need to be in before the end of the countdown.
And before you ask, no, we still have no idea when the actual end of the challenge is other than that it's the 31st.
