Unfortunately it doesn't make a difference since it's still considered a poetry book. But oh well, I hope you enjoyed it at least! :-)

Ah you finished, cool!
Completion Post please! Also, if you could put the book as read and with a date onto your TT shelf that'd be great, thanks :-)

also, good luck and have fun to all of you who participate in the Quidditch match!

Stacie
could you please check Instant Temptation?
The edition you shelved has a different page count than what you wrote in the completion post.
Thank you! :-)

Will do!

No no, all good. I usually go off what is on the shelf anyway, but prefer to double-check.
Letting me know here is enough for me :-)
Thanks!

Annalisa, you were right. Wizard of Earthsea is suuuuch slow (and incredibly passive) reading. But it isn't a bad book. It just takes me ages to slog through the writing style.

At the moment, I'm thinking no. The writing just isn't engaging enough for me. And while the same can be said for stories like Narnia, those still read much easier and nicer than this.
Besides, for the first three chapters, the main character was a bit of an arrogant ass, despite being really young.

Maybe you could just head over to the BR thread once it starts and see what they think about it instead. Someone might comment on the pacing and writing.
It's just weird. High fantasy stories or those more oriented towards the younger generation are often written in this kind of style, and yet I enjoy them much more and feel far more engaged.

Eh..... that sounds like an incredibly terrible book!! o.O
Are you sure you want to finish it?
Of course, rants about crappy books make for fabulous reviews hehe, but still, you don't have to force yourself through it if you don't want to :-)

I think I saw an ARC that could finish Divination. I thought I might try and read something that was missing. However, I really want to read something mindless and I don't think I have a book that fits any of the class spaces that are open.
Mindless books can work really well for spells though! :-)
(Or it might be an interesting title for History of Magic?)
Also, guys, if you want to go through the unused books to see if you can work out an essay for History of Magic - go for it!! :-D

If you want to read for specific books, here is what you can hunt down:
A fat book that works for astronomy so we can replace some of our lower page counts - and if they have a different celestial object in the title than the ones we already have, it would be even better. So preferably not: sun, moon, star(s) as we already have two each of those.
We need one more ARC for divination.
For Spells: Any book that fits for U - title, author, character. There are a large number of Us floating around in those spells and it is a rather elusive letter.

I think I Love You link is to the completion post.
Nice catch! Didn't see Stacie's note at the bottom. Figured we'd use it for one of those I's we still need.
Thanks :-)
Thanks :-)

LaurLa is going on vacation now and she'll update latest when she gets back. She'll let us know then what is still needed :-)
What we certainly need more of is U. For I, we might be nearing the amount needed.

Funny those were the last two letters we needed too to complete our spells !!
Stacie wrote: "I have some other ARCs to read and am starting them soon."
That was the last one we needed - just something to keep in mind so you don't have to squeeze an extra one in if it doesn't fit with other challenges :-)

Keep those books coming, ladies!! :-D I love it hehe.
Couple of things:
Stacie - duly noted, thanks! I put a smudge of colour onto the spreadsheet so I won't forget that there's something to check.
Sunshine - can you please put They Both Die at the End on your TT shelf? Thanks!
Sunshine - for Take, the book on your shelf has a different page number than the number you put in your completion post. Can you please check and let me know? Thanks!
V - the edition of Part-Time Lover on your shelf doesn't have page numbers. Purpose or no? Can you please check and let me know? Thanks!
(Psssst, and Tattooist needs a read date, but you're still updating so... hehe)

I'm only doing two challenges other than this one right now! GASP!! It gives me some freedom with what to read which is both helpful and not.

Shocking!!
I'll give you a task if you prefer ;-) Read a fat book that fits for astronomy hehe.

Happily adding all the books already :-D

I'll see if I can find anything.
As for embedded words, yes, they work to a certain extent. As long as the embedded word still relates to a celestial objects, it's fine. Words such as "sunday" (sun is a celestial object after all) would not work.
"Stardust" and "Starlight" have been given as acceptable examples of objects existing in the universe, i.e. being celestial objects.
By that same logic, northern lights should work.
