Mockingbird might work for orange though, that seems to be a large part at the top that has an orange touch.

Sorry, not my usual read too. I just finished Children of Blood and Bone. I answered the first two sets of questions.
E, can I not answer the last 2 anymore? I feel so-so about the book. *sigh* I was promised epic. I was given typical YA fantasylite haha. And I couldn't switch off my brain the whole time, which does not bode well for a book because it just means I couldn't fully immerse myself into the story.

You don't have to answer all the questions in the sets. You can always just pick out the ones that speak out to you. But if you really don't want to, then don't. In that case, I'd put a note on the thread though as to why, and go rant in the BOM thread about how you didn't get what you were promised. Ranting about books is always fun, if sad. And it makes for a proper completion of the discussion participation, proving that you got to the end of the book.

It's a shame that you couldn't switch off completely and lose yourself in the story. With what you've said and with what Cat previously mentioned as well, I have to admit though that I'm glad I refrained from picking it up. My initial reaction seemed to have been a good one for me.

Moving along nicely!

Defence against the Dark Arts might be tweaked a little as the options are coming in but we have a few of the years covered already, which is good.

Transfiguration has 3 years completed already.

Mending Charm is completed, and we have a few options/beginnings for other charms.

Potions is coming along nicely. As previously mentioned, we only need 1 indigo cover and 2 turquoise covers, the rest are all either penciled in or completed.

Arithmancy is just a matter of finishing the doorsteps and fitting the most useful smaller books into the spots.

Astronomy is coming along, too. Though we might want to try and get a bit of variation into the stars theme we've currently got going ;-)

I still read those because every now and then I need a book to be angry at so when she comes out with a new one, I read it. The story got awful in my opinion and I can't even talk about it with one friend because she gets so mad (I'm not allowed to mention the author's name. We have two of those). I've got #9 on my list of books I should read at some point but other things keep saying read me first.

That is quite extreme, Stacie, but I can understand. Dany is a TERRIBLE character, and making her a main in book #6 was a bad idea. And that was the first thing that put me off of reading the book. And then reviews from GR friends...

Yes! That book!!! It was so depressing I really had a hard time finishing it. I was reading a ton of chicklit at the same time and even after just to balance it out. Oh the books we read for NBRC team challenges hahaha.

I thought the same way about Iced, finally gave it a try after years of putting it off. it wasn't as bad as I thought, at least once you got into the book a little bit. I haven't picked up any of the others yet. I know they won't compare to the first 5 but anything to read more about Barrons :D He's my #1 literary heart stopper
