Elena | 1403 comments I'll start Delirium as soon as I finish the prophecy book sometime today :)

Agree on the spooky cover.

Amy the book-bat (batkisses) | 914 comments what do we still need? I finished the ones I had claimed and can read more tasks if needed

ummm.... a back up snake on cover, or letters - U in particular would be awesome!

message 1107: by Cat (new)

Cat (cat_uk) | 10094 comments Mod
Or even pages Adventure MPG fro the maze ;)

message 1108: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 2131 comments Thank goodness you've all been so good at reading for the tasks, as I've been quite rubbish at them. The maze and last minute SRCing has been taking up all my book choices.

I think I've made a new PB for the amount of books I've read in August though, so it's all good book points. :)

message 1109: by Katie (new)

Katie | 1634 comments Everyone is doing such a great job!

Things are getting really busy here for me, so while I'm fairly certain I'll be able to complete my 2 outstanding books (gate on cover, sword on cover) I don't know that I'll be able to add any letters. I'm currently reading the 'sword on cover' task, so that'll definitely be done on time. If anyone else has a gate on the cover and wants to read for that one, I wouldn't be offended if you want to bump me. If not, I'm pretty sure I'll get it done in time. :)

Don't think I didn't notice the Maze/SRC twofer books! Blood, Sweat & Tea; the Case of the Missing Mascot; the memory book!

Sarah - it's been ace that you've covered the Maze - it meant I didn't have to feel guilty that Cedric wasn't pulling our weight!

message 1111: by Emelie (new)

Emelie | 415 comments Thank you, Marie and Cat! Your encouragement means a lot. <3

I'm soonish finished with the 'song' book!

message 1112: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 2131 comments Lol! Now just to find that elusive "dance" book with the right genre for the maze - and preferably 100 pages.

I don't think there are that many of us able to read on a UK weekday morning - so I'm just filling in the gap until the US wakes up. Shrug. It's fun.

message 1113: by Amy the book-bat (new)

Amy the book-bat (batkisses) | 914 comments I have a U book coming up this week and really looking forward to it.
Have a long book going today, hopefully it will help with letters.
Still want to read Everland for BOM points. I'll have to see what else I can fill in. I will be away for a while on Thursday, but otherwise I have time to read.

I've just submitted another character name :)

I've got 2 more nearly ready to submit: need letters IUPE to completed them.

I've also read a cover with a snake on, to back up in case Tricia can't finish hers (and it has a P character, amongst others!)

I'm hoping to finish The Idiot, which is taking an inordinate length of time to read. the reviews do all say "dense writing" which is for sure true!

In mind I've got Wait for It (670p!, but it's for SRC) and a gate on cover, to back up Katie (Murder in the Mansion), but that - if I manage it - will be about all I think!

message 1115: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 2131 comments I've got an E title I should finish today or tomorrow.

Quick shelf admin requests.... Can you add the following books to your shelves / check and add read dates:

Marie: Mercer Street; Indiana Belle; New World Order; Irish Cottage

Katie: Biker's Vow

Elena: Mother Night

Thanks!

Thanks! Can you double check the read date on Marry in Haste too? :)

message 1128: by Cat (new)

Cat (cat_uk) | 10094 comments Mod
We now only have 2 / 3 books (depending if I cave I bump Tricia) left to finish to complete all the TriWizard tasks!

Over in the Burrow it looks like we are two spaces (and a plea to the Maze Fairy not to inflict a trap) from finishing!

We've not had a countdown timer, yet, of when books need to be completed, but it will be some point on Friday 31. So soon :(

ah... think I've found it: Fighting for You doesn't seem to be on your shelf?

message 1133: by Katie (new)

message 1136: by Tricia (new)

Tricia Schneider (triciaschneider) | 115 comments Sorry I disappeared for a bit. Getting four kids ready for back to school and then my cat got real sick. It got real crazy around my house. Even more than usual. But, I managed to get the snake on the cover book read and posted it in the other thread if you still need it. Now, I think I'm ready for a nap!

message 1137: by Cat (new)

Cat (cat_uk) | 10094 comments Mod
four kids?! I can barely manage myself, let alone kids!

no worries about going quiet - I had a back-up, but managed to be both trusting and patient, that you'd get back to us :)

only two task sets to do - just waiting on Emelie to wrestle Song of Solomon into submission, and Elena's Boy Nobody to do what ever it is he needs to do!

Character spell out is going well. I'm focusing on the shorter names, as we get more bang for our books that way. for letters? I and L, I think, for Sybill & Lucius (we've got the U & Y), but I can shuffle & make them work whatever! :)

message 1138: by Emelie (new)

Emelie | 415 comments I'm gonna finish the book before the deadline, no worries :D

message 1139: by Cat (new)
