message 4: by Tina (new)

Tina Ngo | 20 comments I’m currently about to finish The Young Elites trilogy by Marie Lu and then FINALLY continuing on with the Percy Jackson series. And if not then probably a different fantasy book.

i havent read anything by marie lu yet, but i do have her legend on my bookshelf. have you read that one? oooh. how are you liking the young elites series?

message 6: by Tina (new)

Tina Ngo | 20 comments I read Legend but I forgot everything from it and if you’re interested in reading about a fantasy story about an anti-hero, I HIGHLY recommend The Young Elites. It’s great.

they're actually really fun. depending on how you want to do with your reading buddy. some have number of chapters to read per day or week and then discuss the stuff you've already read. it's always fun to read along with someone and share different opinions.

message 14: by Tehreem (new)

Tehreem Tahir Haii! I've only recently got back into reading this year and was wondering if anyone wanted to buddy read! just let me know if anybody would want to! Thankss :D

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) yay!!! to kill a kingdom it is. :) i think we can start a new one, a private one for our buddy reads and stuff.

maybe we can read those after we finish this.

i can create the group and all. when do you guys want to start reading? 😊 i'm excited btw.

hiiii areebah. what are you planning to read?

I was thinking about reading hunting prince Dracula ( it’s a sequel to stalking Jack the Ripper, but It can be read as a stand alone too), or letters to the lost by Brigid Kemmerer.

Mooza | 3 comments Hi there!

ay! glad to have you on board. i'm just waiting on when they want to start reading it. 😊
any other books you're interested in reading?

message 33: by Tehreem (new)

Tehreem Tahir I think we could start reading on Wednesday? And every Wednesday should be our “Ohmygosh can you believe this just happened?! Osjdiajskakd” sort of moments 😂🙈 (I have a lot of these!) unless people want to do it on the weekend which would also be fine! I just feel like most people do their reading over the weekend but yeah! What are most people comfortable with? 😊💕

message 34: by Himanshu (new)

Himanshu Saliya (him186) Hii

sounds good to me. plus, we can add our thoughts on it whenever we want as long as we add the chapter and spoilers tag to avoid spoiling people. haha. sometimes i just love sharing my thoughts and stuff as it happens.

wednesday it is. i'll post the link to the group later here so you guys can join in. 😊

Tina Ngo | 20 comments What time would we discuss on Wednesday?

Areebah | 6 comments do i have to read the first one to read that? i havent read the first one. 😭

No😊

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) we can each read it on wednesday our own time. it should be fine. 😊 then we post our thoughts whenever we want to within the week. we put the chapter we are on then your thoughts on spoiler tag unless your thoughts are vague and nonspoilery. 😊

i'm still setting up the group.i'm just having a hard time thinking of a name. 😂😂😂

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

hi guys! the group's up for us. just click join group so i can let you guys in. i've set up the threads for our discussion. hehe.

so excited to start. i'll send a group reminder on wednesday my time to remind everyone of the buddy read. 😊

see you guys there. 😊

message 45: by Tehreem (new)

Tehreem Tahir Joined but I’m confused.. I thought we’d pick a chapter and then read up to there then on Wednesday we’d discuss what we read? And by that time everyone would’ve read it? We can choose however many chapters? It depends on the slowest reader I guess 😊

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) Tehreem wrote: "Joined but I’m confused.. I thought we’d pick a chapter and then read up to there then on Wednesday we’d discuss what we read? And by that time everyone would’ve read it? We can choose however many..."

we can actually do that too. 😊 depending on how you guys want to do it. i was just making that suggestion just in case someone got super hooked and want to read ahead. 😁

if we go the chapters route, how many chapters do you think we should read per week so i can update the group?

i approved you guys already. 😁

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) it's just when someone wants to post something during the week even if it's not wednesday yet, just to share whatever it is. its like a status update. haha but in the group. because within the week, we arent really sure, how far and how long someone already read right? so just to avoid spoilers for people like me who are pretty slow, just use the spoiler tag. 😁😁😁

message 48: by Tehreem (new)

Tehreem Tahir Ohh that’d be good! Yeah sounds cool and I can read however many.. so someone else can decide 🙈😊

message 49: by Himanshu (new)

Himanshu Saliya (him186) I totally Agree to read chapter wise as I am a pretty sure that i myself too is a slower reader.

message 50: by Tehreem (new)

Tehreem Tahir Okay how about 3 chapters a week?
