Rhys | 44 comments Should have been published four years ago by an independent publisher but that didn't happen, because small press projects often don't happen. That's just the way it is.

But finally the book is out, and it's a free ebook from Amazon for the next two days :-)

Nia Sinjorina (niasinjorina) | 91 comments Free on Kindle: Saturday 6th July, only. Told by a cowering narrator ten years in the future, follow in the footsteps of Molly, Beth, and Hannah as these three teenage girls bored of 20th century small town living become witnesses to, then actors in the destruction of the human race. With the remains of civilization hiding below a shattered surface tormented by all manner of monsters, just how did humanity fall so far and so fast? More importantly, will it ever rise again?

Rhys | 44 comments Once again my novella (five linked short stories in fact) about the occult detective, Clumsy Carnacki, son of the famous ghost finder, is a free ebook from Amazon -- but only for two days.

This has proved to be one of my more successful books to date. Readers seem to prefer ghosts and ghoulies to other subjects. It has also had good reviews. Anyway, as I said, it's a free ebook now 🙂

Nia Sinjorina (niasinjorina) | 91 comments Free on Saturday, 20th July only, download a copy of my young adult novel, Mudborn, to your digital device and begin an incredible adventure above your head.

Lilias hated her life: the arguing parents, the obnoxious sister, the half-built house in the middle of a lonely forest. Only when out on the high fells with her deaf dog did she feel truly happy. There, she could climb over rocks, splash in becks, and play her favourite game: trying to force the clouds into different shapes with the power of her mind. What she wouldn’t have given to be up there amongst them: light, majestic, and free to go wherever she desired.

Then came the night of storms.

Rhys | 44 comments My book of microfictions, 500 MINI-SAGAS, is a free ebook from Amazon for two days only, starting right now...

A 'mini-saga' is a short story that is exactly 50 words long, not one word more or less. Brian Aldiss was the big champion of 'mini-sagas' and back in the 1980s he ran annual compeitions on behalf of a British newspaper to encourage people to write them...

Anyway, my book is a free ebook now 🙂

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments FREE TODAY (Sunday, 8th September) FOR ONE DAY ONLY!

Some of you may remember this story being serialised on ABCTales during the dark days of the pandemic? Sometimes, I thought it was the only thing keeping me sane! Well, for one day only (Sunday, 8th September), this rather overlooked little book is absolutely FREE as a Kindle version.

What people have kindly said aboout it:

"Really enjoyed this right riotous rollicking story, Ethel, a young lady of good family has somehow found herself homeless and on the road with her maid Gwladys ( a maid with a sensible head!) After her Lord goes off to war.
The story has them jaunting round the countryside getting into all sorts of adventures! Getting themselves caught up in some very tricky situations that they have to extricate themselves from somehow!
A lighthearted easy read, can’t wait for more adventures."

"really enjoyed following Ethel and Glad on their adventures through merry olde England! A delightful, quick read, recommended for a brief escape from our current world"

Have a look, you've nothing to lose and a young lady (and her maid) to gain ;-)

M.J. Webb (mjwebb) | 41 comments Hello!

FYI - The Ajax File is FREE on Kindle right now! The offer lasts 9th and 10th June only.

'An horrific shooting on a crowded London commuter train in broad daylight sparks a determined manhunt. A desperate search for a killer. As well as the seemingly ordinary traveller who attempted to intervene.
Who was he? And why on earth did he run?
Answers are needed and fast. Because the police are not the only ones looking.

Miles Dalton is more at home in front of his computer than out in the real world. Now, the self-confessed nerd finds himself the centre of his very own life or death adventure game, hunted relentlessly by skilled teams of killers who have no intention at all of taking him in alive.

His only hope for survival is D.S. Sam Lennox. However, she is battling demons of her own.
New, untested, surrounded by resentment and plagued by her past, Lennox faces an impossible choice.
To save herself and her fledgling career.
Or risk everything for a complete stranger and do what she knows to be right.'

Triggers; PTSD, Violence (16+)

Thanks,

M J Webb

Ria | 1 comments I’m Ria Dank — a writer curious about how we care for children, and ourselves.

While I’m not a parent, I’ve spent years listening to the stories of parents, teachers, and caregivers. My writing holds space for the hard parts of parenting — with compassion, not judgment.

This book is a gentle, practical guide to help parents understand their anger and respond with more calm and clarity.
