Now we're getting into the nitty gritty of Holmes's crimes, Larson's description of Julia's/Pearl's murders on Christmas Eve and the aftermath is absolutely chilling. I also love how he then slowly goes into the history of grave robbing to make money in the medical trade at the time, and then the slow reveal of what Holmes did with Julia's body within that context. It's just so creepy, and Larson does such a good job of keeping it super visceral while still grounded in facts.
