Appropriate material

Is there any inappropriate material in this book? Language, sex, violence? Looking for recommendations for my Christian book group.

Shelly, The Visitors would probably be a fairly good book for your book group. Much of it is written from the perspective of a 12-year-old English girl who is visiting Egypt the year before and the year of the 1922 discovery of King Tut's tomb. There are alternating chapters when the same young girl is reflecting on those years as a 92-year old. I have just finished reading it and can think of no instances of language, sex, violence that you would need to be concerned about.
