Nita smiled. "Im not sure if that's a compliment or not."

Nita narrowed her eyes a bit and smiled. "Just a minute ago you were telling me not to go bragging about my smarts, but now you're telling me Im smart beyond my years."
"Most of them. Not all." Nita said.
((I forgot what she's like. Im just being the thoughtful part of me. It stinks because she's Griffiondor, but I dunno what else to do))
((I forgot what she's like. Im just being the thoughtful part of me. It stinks because she's Griffiondor, but I dunno what else to do))

Nita laughed a little bit. She brought Mr. G back to her lap. She didn't have anything else to say.

"Of course!" Nita said happily. Thought they had just met she felt like Scarlett was her best friend and they had known eachother forever. Nita picked up her books and walked away.

Ambrosius Newman, now known as Zee to friends, shrugged. "I was hoping my sister or my friend Meg might be here," he said sadly, "but I don't see either of them here. My sister says that the library is one of the best places in the entire school. She's so smart! She gets all Os! And she's a prefect!" Zee was very proud of his elder sister. She was always so nice to him, and he didn't get why everyone hated her. Part of him figured it was because she was so smart.

Molly smiled. "Well, I can sit with you and wait. Then maybe someone you know might show up." She sat down. "My name is Molly. What's yours?"
((He is. =) ))
"Zee," Zee said quickly, nearly tripping over the single syllable. "I mean, Ambrosius Newman." He paused for a second. "Zee is really so much easier to say. I think I get what my sis was saying about names like ours. And that'd be Molly Weasley, right? One of the prefects?" He smiled up at her with a hopeful expression. He was secretly a bit pleased with himself that he had managed to figure out the prefect's name.

((It's really hard to make smilies in these double quotes.))
((It is. That's why I usually try to put a space betweem it and the end parentheses))
Ambrosius nodded as if he were imparting some great secret. "Uh-huh. Long, formal, old-fashioned names like Ambrosius or Dindrane -- that's Mom's name, and Ethelind -- that's my sister's name." Then he noticed something was off in the was she'd said that last bit. "Why? What's wrong?"

Without skipping a beat, Zee shook his head. "No, you didn't." He frowned, the expression more of a pout than a proper frown. "What's actually wrong?" He folded his arms across his chest. "I'm not budging until you tell me."

"Well, your sister... I have met her acquaintance, and let's just say that she and I don't exactly see eye to eye on everything." She patted her hair subtly.
((They are in some chronological order. You can probably look it up on Tardis Wikia. I don't believe there are any that contain the main plot, however.))

((Yeah, Wikia is awesome. No problem! A lot of them have helped me, too))
Zee blinked and frowned. "I don't get why everyone hates her. She's always been so nice to me, particularly when the muggle kids were mean to me because I didn't make sense to them." That hadn't helped Nelth's fairly obvious dislike of muggles (not muggle-borns), which she had already not liked since Elyse's betrayal. His face turning disgusted, he added, "I think it's because of whatever her dad and his wife do. She tries not to show it, but she is so distraught when she has to go over there. I've caught her crying before going there before." He curled his fists. "I wish I could help her."

((Cool! I'm going to refrain from spoiler-giving. I'm glad you like it))

Well that's an awesome way to end your first conversation. Ugh, I was so happy when she went with him I couldn't even tell you. I was actually yelling at the screen when she said she was staying. I can tell she's going to be one of those awesome female characters.))
((I liked her. She annoyed me a bit, but I liked her. I have some couple-year-old Doctor Who fanfiction under Fyrdraca-Elfsciene on both Fanfiction.net and AO3. But it would all be very spoiler-y and confusing for you at present.))

"That's not her," he mumbled plaintively. "It isn't. She isn't like that, not really." Zee bit his lip. He hated hearing about things that Nelth apparently did because that was not her, it wasn't his sister. And he hated that she tried to be that person, that she tried to get everyone to knock her down when really she needed help. Badly. And no attempts at getting her help had ever gone well. She'd always insisted that there were people who needed it more. Zee was pretty sure she needed it as much as they.

Ambrosius shrugged. "Mother. . . she wants to put Nelth in therapy or something like it she called it. I overheard her and dad talking about like ODD or depression or defense mechanisms or masochism. Something like that. No idea what it meant." The look on his face clearly said that he was terrified of not knowing how to help his sister or what was even wrong with her. As far as he was concerned, maybe it would be better if they sent her to a different wizarding school or kept her from going to her dad's or something like that.

Ambrosius frowned. "Azkaban takes people who piss the wrong people off." Of course Zee would have heard of it like that. No one was about to tell a little kid how horribly insane and murderous most of his ancestors were. And to be fair, some ministry workers would rig trials.

She smiled. "I'm not quite sure that's how it works. If it was, I'm pretty sure a lot of Hogwarts students wouldn't be here right now. They would have their souls sucked out by Dementors."
((Indeed))
Zee shook his head, and his forehead crinkled in a frown. "No, they made the wrong people angry. People nearly did that to my mum even though she was avidly against her parents." If anyone deserved Azkaban these days, it was Wigmund Corra, Nelth's dad. He'd been an unrepentant Death Eater groupie that had gone virtually unpunished in all respects. And he'd made Nelth miserable. No one should be allowed to make other that angry.

Zee's frown deepened as he shook his head. "Nelth'd know. Shes touchy about trust. I've probably said too much already." He hugged his arms across his chest, something he only did when truly nervous.

"Well," Molly said, "I think I know a little bit too much about her already." She smiled. "She's not exactly the best at keeping her secrets secret."
((It's fine.))
Zee shrugged. "You hear everything except what truly matters," he countered. Even he only knew the basics of what happened at his sister's dad's house. He hated it. Really, he did. But he hated mostly that he could not protect his dearest sister.

He nodded slightly, scanning the titles absently. Even if his sister weren't here, maybe he could find something he happened to be interested it? Wouldn't that be fortunate? "Thanks," he said, his voice nearly a mumble.
