Hi Guys,
This month we will be reading The Princess Bride BY William Goldman.
Now I'm a big fan of the movie, which in my opinion is one of the few occasions where the movie is as good as the book, and because I saw it first as a small child did not realise it was based on a book until one lucky Christmas it was handed to me as a gift. Since then it's rapidly become one of my favourites and a regular on my reread list. So what I'm trying to get at is that I'm inconceivably excited for this read. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!

Schedule
Week 1: May 1st - May 7th: pgs 1-100
Week 2: May 8th - May 14th: pgs 101-200
Week 3: May 15th - May 21st: pgs 201-300
Week 4: May 22nd - May 28th: pgs 301-399

Summary
Beautiful, flaxen-haired Buttercup has fallen for Westley, the farm boy; and when he departs to make his fortune she vows never to love another. When she hears that his ship has been captured by the Dread Pirate Roberts - who never leaves survivors - her heart is broken. But her charms draw the attention of the relentless Prince Humperdinck who wants a wife and will go to any lengths to have Buttercup. So starts a fairy tale like no other,, of fencing, fighting, torture, poison, true love, hate, revenge, giants, hunters, bad men, good men, beautifulest ladies, snakes, spiders, beasts, chases, escapes, lies, truths, passion and miracles.

Hi guys,
So I don't know about anyone else but I found it extremely difficult to put down and as such read the book in almost one sitting. It's so good!

So, lets discuss the most obvious thing, the difference between the movie and the book, It's always a shame when events have to be left out of a movie because of time constraints on the final product but I feel that the movie tries really hard to only cut out things that don't distract from the overall story. That said, I would have loved to have seen the Zoo of Death.
