The crime scene analysts go into lots of detail in explaining not only their findings but almost step by step in how they reached their conclusions, often letting Rizzoli deduce it herself. Was that helpful and added to your enjoyment or too much info?

Normally I find it interesting but the author’s medical background may have been a disadvantage this time. It was way too detailed for me. There’s no need to train detectives in that level of detail though there’s a case to be made that it might help them better preserve a scene.
