For future reference, it's really helpful when asking for moves if you can let us know that you are Kevin^^^Singer, where ^ is a space. Those spaces are how we separate your profile from any other authors called Kevin Singer. :)

Kevin Singer (kevin21) | 7 comments Thanks -- just to be clear, my author profile has 3 spaces between Kevin and Singer? is that standard?

message 6: by Z-squared (new)

Z-squared | 8580 comments Hi Kevin, Goodreads uses extra spaces to disambiguate authors with otherwise identical names. The extra spaces are invisible to users and are only relevant when adding your name to the author field of book records. Without the extra spaces, your books would appear on a different Kevin Singer profile, and you would be unable to edit it. So yes, using extra spaces is standard. The fact that you got three is nothing special, just what happened :)
