She and her friends (sisters?) are very poor.
They see an old lady being neglected by her servants.
They decide to step in and help her and stay on as her companions.
However, the old lady's nephew returns from being oversee. He is a nobleman.
The old lady requests him to show the girls around and maybe even introduce them to the ton.

Any idea? I think I read it within the last 6 years.
