I love going into books blind, not knowing what they are about but the last two books, that has not worked out well for me.
I did not realize this was a book of 9 short stories, so the change in story and characters threw me off until I realized this (the third story).
All the short stories deal with Indians and Indian Americans struggling to deal with their heritage vs other cultures.
I really liked almost all the stories and most lead to a moment of meditation on the story. I did get tired of the fact that a common message was to never marry or trust another. Never find your happiness in another person. This theme was broken in the last story and I was glad about that.
