Izzy Prim and Finnick I cried the most about because I loved Finnick and then they kill him off. But then, Katniss volunteers for the Hunger Games and hunts illegally just to keep Prim alive and she ends up dying anyway. They both made me cry, but I thought that Suzanne Collins might have killed one too many.

Peyton Terry Finnick all the way. It was such a surprise and i knew Prim would die. I didn't even blink twice when Cinna died. Finnick was just such a comedic relief and he was AWESOME. I still can't believe he died:(((((

i totally agree! I felt more when Cinna died for the same reasons... There could have been more build-up for Finnick & Prim's deaths. Mockingjay could have been split into 2 books, really.

Natalie Since I possess no soul, I didn't cry at all reading the Hunger Games, but Finnick's death made me the most upset, especially considering he had just married Annie.

Krestan Finnick definitely. I was so invested in his storyline since it was so tragic. Also, the fact that he had just gotten married and had his child with Annie...oh man

Angela Klingelhoffer Finnick and Prim. It seemed like he was going to have a great life with Annie, and then he just dies. I'm honestly getting emotional just typing this which I know is like overreacting or something , but Finnick was just so great. Prim's death was also very upsetting for a lot of reasons.:(

Finnick or cinna i loved them both so much!!! TotLly unfair but i suspected Prims death

Ji Hoon Yoon omg... I just finished the series. WHY THE HELL DID THEY KILL OFF PRIM JUST WHYYYYYYYYYYY.. I was super sad for Cinna/Rue/Finnick but I could accept it due to the story. But Katniss' entire motivation/purpose came from Prim. Prim was the reason she kept fighting. The reason she kept on going. HOW COULD SHE DIE. Her death made me so freaking sad and mad. Coin's a bitch and I'm SO glad Katniss kills her at the end (best part of the series). Seriously I think killing her off was just plain stupid.

Sparrowlicious I didn't cry about any of them but I was quite sad about Cinna. The others were a bit too sudden for me. Too removed, I think.

Katelyn Kershaw i didn't cry at all but the worst was prim since she was youngest and was a big character in the story

Rachel E. Carter I didn't cry when any of them died. But I balled like a baby when Katniss went to visit the remains of her district and she found Buttercup looking for Prim. That was THE moment for me. Something about its haunting loneliness and her/Buttercup's shared grief:(

Nastassja I didn't cry until I had finished the book and it sunk in that Cinna, Finnick, Prim and so many others that I loved were dead. It was too fast for me to cry during the book, I can't even remember the ending of the book well because I hated everyone dying so much that I blocked it out.

izzi Prim

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

Yea prims was a little sad but i expected it

Queenjuicy All of them where stunning, not expected I mean, so I didn't tear up for one in particualar.

message 66: by [deleted user] (new)

Same

Nour El Houda Ziani Finnick's

message 68: by [deleted user] (new)

Yea i would say finnicks if i had too

message 69: by Sara (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sara Prim because keeping her alive was the whole point of Katniss going into the games in the first place. Katniss had one goal, keep Prim alive. When she died it was like Katniss did all that for nothing. I guess I related more to this because I have a little sister too. It's just me and her and I love her very much and am protective of her as Katniss was of Prim. Cinna's death crushed me but Prim's death devastated me. With Prim's death I felt betrayed as a reader.

message 70: by [deleted user] (new)

I expected Prim's death since the first book so it wasnt to stunned.

Kelly Brigid ♡ Uh, you do realize you just spoiled 3 major deaths for people who haven't read the entire Hunger Games series, right? I highly recommend you change the title to "Whose death was the saddest? (SPOLERS!)

Anyway, the saddest death for me is definitely Finnick's. He was my favorite character and he JUST got married to Annie! And if that wasn't bad enough, she was going to have a baby!!! ;(

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

Finnick was my favorite character D:

message 73: by [deleted user] (new)

Ye i get mad when authirs kill of my favorite characters.

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

Exactly!!

Kelly Brigid ♡ Lol, I totally thought that too! xD

message 76: by [deleted user] (new)

Yw im just awesome like that

First of all, how often do you notice it's a spoiler but have already read the whole title? Exactly. People who are just going through discussion pages see it; it's bad enough when 1 death is listed, but this shows 3 deaths!

message 78: by [deleted user] (new)

So true so true

Kelly Brigid ♡ All I'm saying is the 3 character names shouldn't be mentioned in the title! It should be more like:

"Whose death made you cry the most? (SPOILERS!)"

Therefore you're not giving away the spoiler for the people who haven't read it yet and the people who have read the book can click on the discussion. Maybe you don't know that people who haven't even read Mockingjay can still see this discussion when browsing through the popular discussions.

message 80: by [deleted user] (new)

If they havent read the mockinjay then why pick a mockingjay discussion!!! There is already a spoiler in the name already!!!!

message 81: by Lara (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lara I was expecting Cinna's death, but I still cried about his the most, especially when Katniss was looking through his sketch book :'( That being said, I hated Prim and Finnick's deaths just as much.

message 82: by Kelly Brigid ♡ (last edited Sep 24, 2014 06:47PM) (new) - rated it 3 stars

Kelly Brigid ♡ Oh, no wonder you all think I'm crazy. Discussions are viewable in the discussion area and anyone can view a single discussion when looking through the popular discussions. For an example, I haven't read the Divergent trilogy and none of the books are on any of my shelves, but if I were just looking through the popular discussions, I could see a discussion on Allegiant and it could be titled about a certain person's death. See what I'm saying? Someone could be browsing something not related to Mockingjay at all, but this discussion could just pop out of nowhere and BOOM! Now you're all spoiled.

Kelly Brigid ♡ I just proved it in case none of you believed me. :P It's the fifth most recent discussion and anyone can see it. I just saw some one on that Game of Thrones book and Hunter as well as a few other books that I've never even heard of.

Cassidie It wasn't that I was upset. I was simply unable to comprehend that Cinna's gone. I was hopeful until the very end of the last book that he's being held captive somewhere and he's hurt, but alive. I though all along he would come back. I was more than befuddled when he didn't.

Kayla Zampino Finnick and Cinna

jeannegugs PRIM! prim is the reason for everything that has happened to katniss. we have watched prim grow, & mature, to a responsible, caring person... and, wham(!), the very reason, GONE. what was it all for... her freedom? i actually screamed, & thought i had died, too.

message 87: by [deleted user] (new)

XD well you were calm

Meara Sharisky finnick, obviously

Samantha walker Cinna and prim. I love Finnick so much but it was such a quick death and heaps of action was going on afterwards so I didn't have time to focus on the death. Cinna because he was an amazing fatherly character to Katniss and she saw him get beaten to death right in front of her! And prim because of buttercup. That's all I can say

Valkyrie Cain So hard to choose. I love all three characters.
If I have to choose, then I would choose Prim because she was the reason everything occured in the first place

message 91: by Theodorus B. (last edited Sep 27, 2014 01:02PM) (new) - rated it 3 stars

Theodorus B. I guessed early on that Prim would die, it's like this creepy game I like to play with books like these. I honestly had no idea that it would happen and I was still surprised by how it happened though.

Cinna was so obviously going to die, with that being said it didn't hurt less...let me tell you.

The only deaths in the whole series that made me cry: Rue's and Finnick's. I had no idea or I guess I didn't want to think this would happen and the point at which all the grey clouds went away for him and then BAM, DEAD! ...that was so hard to deal with... the pain I felt for the loss of him was real.

I need to stop reading book were characters you love die (which is all of them by the way) or I need to turn into a robot that has no emotions. lol

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

I knew who exactly was ginna die as soon as I read the characters name.

Julia I am not much of a book crier, and I didn't cry reading Mockingjay, but I was the most upset with Prim's. Cinna's at the beginning was more of just a confirmation from Catching Fire, and Finnick's was so fast that I didn't really have time to be sad. Maybe it will be more upsetting in the movie with the music and stuff. Oh boy...

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm dying waiting for the mockingjay movie ti come out D;

November 21 is around the corner, mate.

I'm kind of sad it's in two parts even if there is enough for two movies...
