Is it Kennebunkport?

Close enough! It is Ogunquit, Maine, right next to Kennebunkport. While checking things out I saw that Ogunquit is not on most maps or listings of summer places, etc., whereas the next town over, Kennebunkport is. So I decided if the four nearest towns were mentioned I'd take that, to be fair. Its all part of the southern Maine coastal summer towns. Ogunquit means "beautiful place by the sea" and it is! I've been several times and even international visitors stay there, and I wanted to get there this summer....alas.

We vacationed there once ... lovely area and we really enjoyed it. We were driving around one day, just aimlessly exploring and came across Pres. George H W Bush's retreat!

Let me think of a location .... I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Yes the Bush place is not far from a main road, I once saw part of the Bush family with the Gorbachev family at an eatery in Ogunquit years ago.

Just this summer I saw the Bush compound and ate at Mabel's where the Bush's are rumored to hang out. And stayed overnight in Ogunquit - I love Maine.

We were fine ... lots of rain (again) ... but no serious damage here. But there were "tornadic winds" in the county just to the north of us (we are on the county line). More bad weather expected next week.... S*I*G*H ... 'tis the season.

Every time we get big lightning strikes we turn off all our electronics to avoid problems with surge if/when electricity goes off and then resumes. My brother had his whole house fried that way once ... had to replace his televisions, computer, even his refrigerator and microwave.
