GREAT guess! Yes it is Badlands. Probably the eeriest place I've ever been in my 67 years. I am not one to "hear voices" but I heard Native American spirits there, I swear. In a way it was a beautiful experience and in a way a tremendously sad experience.

I haven't been to the South Dakota Badlands but I have been through the North Dakota Badlands and I have to agree - eerie and beautiful at the same time.
Wow! I got it right :)And yes Denise I agree with you that it's an emotional place. But it didn't help that we went to the Wounded Knee Museum first. That set the tone for our visit in the National Park.

Most maps I'm looking at seem to break Brazil into 5 regions: North, Northeast, Central (aka. Central West), Southeast and South. Based on those divisions, is it in the Southeast region?
