I'm trying to find a good question to narrow it down, but there are several island countries ending with a vowel and just two questions left to find this not-a-building/bridge/square-maybe there will be a fountain thing and I don't want to guess random countries, but with only one question and guess left at least it will narrow down the options for the guess..

No it is not in Indonesia Rosa but you are much closer! It's smaller than Indonesia and all of it is above the Equator. And when I type in Island country in Asia on google - it comes up first though that could be because I have been looking at it a lot for our next capital challenge.

Rosa, that was one of the islands I thought it might have been too. But the equator confused me there and I did not see anything it might be. I think I finally have the right island which I did not have until Jan's last clue but I still have no idea what to guess.
