Hi all--- Has this book changed the way you taste/drink/shop for wine? What about how you interact at restaurants? I thought Bosker's submersion into this previously-unknown-to-me world was a real trip. And it sounds like it has affected her life (and brain!) permanently. I know I think about wines more carefully now, and am curious about varieties that I didn't know much about before.

I also thought including the science end of things was very interesting. Who knew there were just any many crazy characters in the world of olfactory science as there are in the wine world? And I'm more curious than ever to know exactly what "mega-purple" is. Anyway, this was a fun book!
