AW, that's so sweet, thank you! I found several on the list that I thought might be a good read. Jane Eyre and The Road interested me the most. So besides Full Tilt, what do you guys think? Think they could qualify as horror? I'm curious about Jane Eyre because I'm reading We Are Okay and that book is often mentioned.

Nah, I'm a chicken XD Plus my mom would probably throw pillows at my head. I'll get curious, watch scary movies, and then drive her crazy with how freaked out I got. Sometimes I'll point out a new horror flick on tv and I'm just doing it out of interest and she'll cut me off and say "No." Lol it's hilarious.

I do love that book though. It's what really made me love classics. It was my first one. I remember not loving the cover so much when I bought it along 2 other books so I left it to be read at the end. And it was the best. That's when I remembered the quote: ''Don't judge a book by its cover".

I just wanted to make sure.
Just found out The Perks of Being A Wallflower sparked a discussion years after it was first released. (2009-2015) It was banned for a little while, who would've thought?This makes my progress update 9/12. Up to date, as I read it in Aug so it works well for Aug's banned book theme.

Eleanor & Park was also a banned book! This is so crazy! But, hey, if anyone needs an excuse to finally read it, there it is!
Due to parents complaining because of profanity, and crude, sexual references. Happens quite a lot in the US, but then again their curriculum reading list has a lot more contemporary material. In English schools, we'd have a lot of timeless classics on our reading list.

Year's almost over! Luckily I have all the books I need to finish the challenge, I just gotta finish the books XDMy plan:
-under 200: Opal (psh, I'll finish that in a hour)
-horror: The Picture of Dorian Gray (almost done!)
-poetry: Milk and Honey (almost done!)
-non-fiction: First Year Nurse: Wisdom, Warnings, and What I Wish I'd Known My First 100 Days on the Job (almost done!)
-movie adaptation: To All the Boys I've Loved Before ( I want this one SO BAD)
-recommended: The Foxhole Court (almost done!)

I loved Milk and Honey. I read it a few months ago -also to all the boys I've loved before.
I want to read The Picture or Dorian Gray before the year ends!
