While Leo flies ahead on Festus to warn the Roman camp, Lester and Meg must go through the Labyrinth to find the third emperor—and an Oracle who speaks in word puzzles—somewhere in the American Southwest. The starting is awesome! I love Apollo absolutely refused to share the story at first. Poor guy. Also, the dedication! I'm not sure if Uncle Rick is trying to forewarn us or scare us.

Yeesh! I was not expecting the emotional toll this book would take. I might need to recharge. On the bright side, (view spoiler)[I'm excited that we're going to meet Tyson again, and Reyna. So far I've been pretty entertained and they know who the third Emperor is! And I don't think it's good. Tho I have to say when Macro said the emperor was Julius Caesar I just kept thinking about the play and "Et tu Brute?" It's still on repeat in my mind. I want to know who the sorceress is and why Meg doesn't like palm springs. (hide spoiler)]

chapter 30 - (view spoiler)[Apollo has changed so much! I like the idea that even if he becomes a God again he wants to remember everything as human, I seriously hope that will be the case in this series.

I'm glad finally Meg is open up a little and speaking to Apollo, she really needs to grow up. Also, I'm pretty curious about Meg's inheritance since she is more fast and have more abilities with everything, who is she? really?

I'm not surprise about Jason trying to protect Piper, since HoO he always been the typical hero material thing is cute but is annoying too.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Rick's development. I had read all his books and I love how much he has development everything and most at all his characters. Now, Piper is trying to discover herself, trying to know who she really is, what she likes, etc. Is just so amazing and I don't doubt I'll still love her character but this is so amazing.
