Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) ((NOVA))

Callie started folding the clothes, that weren't even hers. She was still getting stomach pains, although she didn't know why. The clothes were almost don and in the basket when a guy knocked it down laughing. Figures.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) ((LISA))

Aza walked into the laundry room to see some kids kicking a basket of someone’s folded laundry. She narrowed her eyes. “Leave it!” She hissed.

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) Callie turned to see a girl, she sighed. Finally. Someone with common sense. The boys ran away afraid. "Thanks." The clothes were messed up so it will take her about twenty minutes to fold up again.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) Aza picked up some of the dropped clothes, not responding to the other girl. She folded them and stacked them in the basket again.

message 6: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Oh, you didn't have to do that." She said. "I could've done that."

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) She shrugged. “Too late now.” She pulled the second load out of the dryer.

message 8: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Thanks," she finished folding and put the clothes in the basket. The basket was full so she put it with the others on the table.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) Aza started switching over the wet clothes from the washer to the dryer.

message 10: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Who are you?" She turned to the next dryer that was finished and started sorting the clothes

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Aza. You?” She asked, pouring some detergent into the dryer.

message 12: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "I'm Callie." She started folding the pants.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Nice to meet you,” She said, sniffing the detergent. “I think this is expired.”

message 14: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Yeah, use the one on the shelf." She took the one Aza was holding and threw it out. "They always do that."

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) She wrinkled her nose. “That’s vile.” She grabbed the one off the top shelf.

message 16: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "It is." She scratched her head. "How long have you been here?"

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Few years,” she understated. “You?”

message 18: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "3 years. Unwanted or prisoner?"

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Both,” She said, grabbing a runaway sock and tossing it in the washing machine.

message 20: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Care to explain?" She asked putting the finished on the table.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “I killed someone,” she shrugged, “and I was abandoned. So both. I was probably unwanted because I killed someone . . .” She thought. “I should be a prisoner, but I’m considered an unwanted because my parents abandoned me.

message 22: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Oh, who'd you kill?"

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Beats me. Some random dude. I needed a car.” She shrugged again, like killing someone for a car was perfectly normal.

message 24: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) She nodded, "was the car good?"

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Chevy. Not awful, not the best.” She put the detergent back on the shelf.

message 26: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Was it worth the kill?" She took the next basket of clothes.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “No.” She snorted.

message 28: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "That's a shame." She put her arms down and sighed.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) "What about you?" Aza asked, pinning some of the hand-dry clothes above the washer

message 30: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Unwanted," she said sadly. She remembered the day like it was yesterday the way her parents looked at her. The noise her baby was making.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) Her mouth turned down, but she corrected herself quickly and made it a straight line again. “Oh.”

message 32: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Yeah. Why did your parents abandon you?"

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) She grabbed the huge stack of clothes off the table next to the dryer. “These need to be sorted,” she said. “They didn’t want me.”

message 34: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Did you do something?" She took the clothes and started sorting them.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Apparently I was born.” She said, shoving a wet top into the dryer.

message 36: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) Callie frowned, "parents are stupid."

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “I wouldn’t know,” she replied.

message 38: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "You never met them? You were born and they just left?"

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “No. They were never really there,” she said. “Always partying, or drunk, or painting, or going to work. So irresponsible.”

message 40: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) She nodded and started folding the shirts. "Who took care of you?"

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Me.” She said simply. She folded an orange jumpsuit and noticed the hole in the front. Firing squad, she thought brutally.

message 42: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Was it hard?" She put the shirts in the basket and started on the pants.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Not really. I was hungry and cold a lot.” Nothing compared to what she had been through here.

message 44: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "That sucks." She finished the pants and sat down on the floor.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “You?” She asked.

message 46: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "What?" She asked.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “Life story.” She tossed a handful of socks at the other girl.

message 48: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "Oh, I was disowned." She said quietly.

lady amalthea ‧₊˚.⟢ (190511) “What?” She raised an eyebrow.

message 50: by Arthur (new)

Arthur Lopez (thequiettalkingkid) "My parents disowned me...because I got pregnant and I wanted to keep it." She sighed.
