I seem to keeo getting more editions of my book for some reason. There is only one edition. I ddi change the cover but its just one book

If the cover has been changed then it is considered an ACE (Alternate Cover Edition). This means that anytime a cover is changed a new edition is created. Old cover editions must be kept, because that is GR Policy, because people want to shelve the cover that they read.
Ok. But i have 4 editions and only 2 covers
Merge pending. However, please be aware that on Goodreads, Kindle and ebook are treated as distinct formats. So even after the merge, you will have two Kindle editions and an ebook edition.
