Here is my progress and thoughts of the book and the whole series.

17% done this book already and already I am feeling happy, mad, and sad all at the same time. In the first 100 pages we learn more of Jem and how serious his condition is. Also that he is marrying, Tessa and she has no clue how much worse his illness became. Reading these chapters make me upset with Jem, sorry for Will and Tess, and mad at Will for being so stubborn. Also I suspect Gabriel of dark things to come to the Institute.

So reading this book I thought to give the Netflix show Shadowhunters a try. A show based off the original series The Mortal Instruments. To be honest, the acting and effects were cheesy. They are best suited for paper than for Television. Good book series though

I love the shadowhunter series by Cassandra Clare but this series of Infernal Devices not so much. Yet each book keeps my gripped and wanting to see what happens next. On page 400 and I can tell this will be the final book. Like this one more than the last 2.

around page 470 and got to say, they made the plot of the book end to quick. way to quick. the original mortal instruments lasted longer

Clockwork Princess was not as good as Clockwork Prince or Angel. In fact, I found the 3rd book of The Infernal Devices quite boring for the most part and stretched out to long. They ended the plot way to quick I find and after they killed Mortmain, it was easy to Speed read the rest because it was irrelevant and stuff that could have been only 1 or 2 chapters. Not 3. To be honest, this series of the Shadowhunter World was not the best I have enjoyed by Cassandra Clare. Not my cup of tea. Although I do enjoy the fact we learn more of the Shadowhunter history that was touched in The Mortal Instruments. Like the creation of the Portal and all that. And the heritage of some of the families we love. That is why I give it a 3 out of 5. The series was not all bad but it was a different take and did not really care for this version. I am on the fence with it.
