I wish it was acceptable to flat out ask people "what are some quirky things about you" because oh my goodness I adore discovering the little things about people that they might be shy about or even embarrassed...because I always grow fond of them <3

A very large, dominant part of me sticks firmly to the idea that, despite what I may write about, Morpheus once he's officially with Alyssa is the type of man netherling to be truly grateful to finally have this thing called love & loyalty. The type of guy that would lounge/cuddle on a couch. The type that would be more than content to simply share a space with Alyssa as they both go about their own business. The couple that would be perfectly comfortable with each other and their body's, enough to do things like simply change in front of each other, share a bath, go swimming etc. Mmph <3

Well, it's more of a Alice in Wonderland/Splintered playlist, but yes, Her Name is Alice is on there, along with other songs from the "Almost Alice" album.

Also, the moth is actually Actias artemis, a close relative and look-alike of Actias luna, the American Luna Moth. I don't know this Japanese version's non-scientific name.

I'm not the first to catch that, am I?

It's just because I was at the SF Academy of Science (totally recommend you all go) and one of their main logos was a blue moth. I actually went to the tropical rainforest simulator thing in hopes of seeing butterflies (which I did; tons) and there was this tiny plaque with a blue and black butterfly on it and I was like FINALLY I CAN FIND OUT THE NAME OF THIS MYSTERIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL CREATURE and then I just kind of collapsed in giggles.

Okay, I've been hit with inspiration.

So Nessy asked if Morpheus had a collection of whips and feathers, and A.G. replied that we will learn something about his preferences for love play in book 3.

And yesterday in the "Quotes for Unhinged" thread we mentioned the fire scene in the gym and how Morpheus appeared out of the smoke to lure Alyssa into the fire and this quote: "You were magnificent today, little blossom. My one regret is the same as yours. That we didn't share a dance in the flames." And A.G. said that this line "kind of" plays a part in Ensnared.

And then I've been listening to the playlists today, and came across several songs that deal with fire one way or another.

So my crazy mind put all this info together and ...

... and I thought that whips and feathers are all good, but since this is Wonderland and Morpheus we are talking about, there must be something more outlandish about his love play preferences. Like, maybe, they have something to do with fire. Literally. Maybe he is a pyromaniac at heart?

And I still wonder how he was able to appear out of the smoke. What kind of magic was at work there?
