I think I have four. "E", "U", "X", and "Y". I know that some of the harder ones can be filled with that letter being in the title or author's name but I am looking forward to attempting to actually read something that starts with that letter.*Update*
I am down to just needing 3, as I got my "E".
**I just completed the challenge on 10/4. YAY!
I have 6 books left - K, Q, V, X, Y & Z! I am looking for an actual X book, but am still on the search. Otherwise I have books lined up for all of the other letters.
Way to go girls, only 5 months left to this year.. I am hoping to catch up the 6 letters i have missing, Good luck and happy reading to you all :)
Are we going to do this challenge next year also? If so I'll probably join in then at the start of the year.
I still have 4 to go. E, V, X, Z. I might have to read X-men and Zelda. :) I have E and V books on my to-read list.
Brenda yes we will start again in January 2015 and start our list at that time. So look forward to having you join us next time around :)
Wow June you and Ashley are tied at 4 more books for the year. Good Luck Ladies.
That's ok Wendy i have 6-0r 7 left and i am going to cram them in at least try. I read a lot though so hopefully will get to em. Happy Reading.

When I said I read A LOT in my intro, I meant it. It's kind of my escape from sanity ;) My Goodreads goal for the year is to read one book for each day of the year. So far I'm about 35 ahead of schedule. So I think I will make it if I can find a book for each letter that will catch my interest. I found an E book for tonight. Eternity by Staci Stallings. Then I just have V, X, and Z and Wendy commented on the Zookeepers Wife which looks like a great read. So...
I am an avid reader too. I am disabled and read anywhere from 1-3 books a day especially in the winter for I hate the stuff on tv LOL. This year alone I have read already 254 books out of the 500 that I set for a goal this year. I am just a little behind of about 40 books but I am not worried about it.
Now I am missing 5 letters, (Q, V, X, Y, and Z) for books with the letter starting the title. I just need to look at getting a couple of books from the library to cover the Y, V, and Q. I have though already read a book by Penny Zeller and several by Debra Ullrick. I am sure I will come across those letters starting a title if I just look LOL.

There is a list on listopia if anyone is interested for letters x,y, and z https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...
V and Z to go. For anyone who likes Scottish clan stories, X Marks the Scot by Victoria Roberts was a fun read for my letter X.

You should read "Tolstoy and the Purple Chair" which is about a lady who did just that. It's non-fiction and I thought fairly profound.

Tolstoy and the Purple Chair: My Year of Magical Reading to my to-read list

I add to it faster than I delete from it.) ;)
Noel thanks for the suggestion for that looks like a wonderful book. Not normally the kind I like, meaning it isn't a romance LOL, but still that looks like a great book to read. I have already requested it at my library and should have it in a few days. I am looking forward to reading it.
I am done with my list and was able to read a book that started with each letter of the alphabet. I am also trying to read books from authors starting from A to Z. I have about 7 more left in that list. I look forward to some of the new challenges coming up!
Well geez Noel you are about a step a head for that with the Author is something new that we are going to be putting out there. But I started doing the same thing with the Authors LOL
And I don't know if it came through but read the last quote with a sarcastic tone and a smile on my face LOL for I am just teasing
Janine wrote: "And I don't know if it came through but read the last quote with a sarcastic tone and a smile on my face LOL for I am just teasing"I got the sarcasm and imagined the smiley face!! LOL!!
LOL Ok great. I forget a lot of times my sense of humor which is a bit dry at times, doesn't always come through when writing and well it can seem hateful at times. I wish I knew how to fix that, so I just try to make sure people know I am teasing to hopefully ease that until people know me better.

You got boys in your home don't you Noel? My sarcasm only got worse with my son LOL
Congrats Ashley, Way to go! I still have 5 left for this year, hope i make it and i have like 13 for the A to Z author challenge too.
Hi Linda, it's been a fun challenge, trying to find books that start with an X and a Z. I just recently found my last book to read, and it's a mystery, and I love suspense and mystery, so I will be reading it soon.
I did this challenge for another book club this year and when it came to Q, XYZ we were allowed to use a book that had those letters anywhere in the title. So for example we could use The Red Queen, for Q. Just helped make the selections easier I think.I will do this for 2015.
Barb, same rules for this A to Z Book Challenge. Those letters are hard to find. So glad you will join us in 2015 for this challenge. Good Luck and Happy Reading.
