Justin (justinbienvenue) Hey Graeme,
I updated KDP Rocket so I now get the new category feature. I've also been trading e-mails back and forth with Dave Chesson about the categories so right now I'm establishing all my categories first and then going over the whole keywords on there. I imagine I'm just in some very small niche keywords but when I move onto the keywords yes I'll run it past you to give you an idea of what I've been doing with them up till now.

M.G. Darwish | 7 comments Thanks for the post Graeme. Glad to know I'm not the only one struggling with this. So far, I've ran multiple campaigns that aren't really amounting to anything.

Noticed that Amazon doesn't spend the entire budget you set (which can be a good and bad thing as well). Are there any other services or websites that offer insights into Amazon keywords? Or is Kindle Rocket the only choice?

Graeme Rodaughan Kindle Rocket is the first one I came across, and there is a bit of chat around goodreads about it - mostly positive.

Graeme Rodaughan I consider myself still in the novice mode with this. I've got 11 adverts with between 260 and 440 search terms. I need more time to see what works and what doesn't. There are no real patterns yet.

Pretty much what I'm thinking.

I'm establishing a brand new set of keywords, and will also look at categories and the blurb and attempt to align them all.

Hey Graeme, when you ran these keywords in Rocket, did you find that a lot of them just wouldn't work for you beause they weren't ranked low?

Also, how were you able to see how the keywords that you did use worked like getting clicks and stuff besides possibly getting sales?

Graeme Rodaughan Hi Justin.

Yes. Finding good keyword phrases is a search and evaluation process.

I keep my analysis in excel so that I don't accidentally repeat my work.

The AMS dashboard allows you to select your advert and then look up the performance of your keywords for impressions, clicks and sales.

Do you have to register to be able to see your impressions, clicks and sales?

Graeme Rodaughan I'd google navigating AMS Advertising dashboard and look for instructions because you must have access to any AMS adverts that you have created.

message 60: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan The dashboard is reachable from your KDP account report page.

Graeme Rodaughan Go to "Ad Campaigns"

Go to "view your ads dashboard page"

So I think this only works if you've run an Amazon Ad yes? It's separate from running a Kindle Countdown or Free Deal? Because it keeps showing me this message:
