SOLVED. Paranormal ghost-type book, Irish brothers [s]

Ok so I remember details of the book - but I don't remember the character's names or the title of the book (ugh). I'm pretty sure it's a series. I remember that the main character is a girl and that her dad is a police officer. I have a feeling the girl is about 20ish? anyway, their neighbor is a cop too but he got hurt I believe. I wanna say his name is Tristan, but I am not sure. The girl gets hired as the guy's assistant once he goes back to work (he's not very happy about it). And then I don't remember like the whole middle of the book (ugh again). But anyway, the guy's "brothers" are these spirit type things and I remember they're all Irish
